BAKERY ON 5TH Reviews
Delicious decadent pastries! Great soup & sandwiches. Highly recommend!
Booked them for our wedding cake and 60 cupcakes. Was quoted $752. At first we were going to go elsewhere because $6 a cupcake was crazy but I forgot they told us they use gnash instead of buttercream. So we ended up going with them and were very excited as they do beautiful work. Welp, we got plain chocolate and vanilla cupcakes and they were the driest cupcakes I ever tasted in my life. BAKERY ON 5TH is a hidden gem in Erie, PA, known for its wonderful teas, Turkish coffee, and vast international baked desserts. Customers appreciate the unique design of each pastry, which is not overly sweet. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make everyone feel valued. The iced vanilla latte is just right - not too bitter or sweet. The puffed pastry with custard and fruit on top is a favorite, described as flakey and fresh. Customers have found everything to be phenomenal, including the addicting coffee, creme brulee, and meat pastry. It is the talk of the town right now and justifiable, with so much to choose from. The Nutella Croissant and Blueberry Croissant are highly recommended. Everything is fresh and delicious, including the sampler of small baklava pieces and the cinnamon roll. It is a little expensive, but excellent. A great place that is highly recommended and worth returning to again and again.
