My husband and I enjoyed our Valentine's dinner one day early at the 814 Chophouse and we were very pleased. We used our Erie Fine Dining card. Our food was delicious including shrimp cocktail, Tuscan bread with wonderfully infused olive oil, Caesar salad with anchovies, and a wonderful Spanish red wine Campo Viejo Tempranillo suggested by our professional and knowledgeable head server who truly has a passion for her craft. Very good dinner but expensive. Heads up, all sides do not come with the dinner. So you have to pay for them separately! The sides are large and tasty, but they should be included with the dinner. My wife enjoyed her steak, but my steak had a lot fat and was tough. Gratuity is automatically included on the bill. Atmosphere is nice. Service is ok, but the waitress tries to get you to order more sides to increase your bill. (Higher the bill, higher the gratuity).
Wow, what a nice surprise, since I hadn’t heard of this place till just recently. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Sever Rikki extremely attentive and knowledgeable about wines. Fun Girls Night Out! Delicious filet and amazing lobster Mac and Cheese.
