Happened upon this place today while headed home from seeing the Tall Ships.... And now I have to go back!! Took home a bunch of goodies, and started with the m&m brownie cheesecake..... AMAZING!!!!! That indescribable kind of amazing!!! Highly recommend!
So they were “open “, they actually were closed today and having a birthday , a gentle man friend of the owners named Franklin introduced me to Mabel & Thelma ( mother and daughter dynamic bakers ) and there fine treats . I sampled brownies ,cheesecake , peach cobbler and my own personal favorite from childhood sweet potato pie ( my mom of course made them as opposed to pumpkin ) sweet potato pie is a 2 day advance order . My students and I happened upon their items at a little shop in the Blasco Library building. We were treated to the peanut butter banana chocolate bread. It was so delicious! It was a hit with all the students. We are visiting the library this week and everyone wants to know if we will purchase a loaf of bread! I think we will!
