Excellent food. Fast service. Great for a quick lunch. The lunch specials are a good value. The food always meets our expectations. There is a paid parking lot right around the corner. Street parking can be a little difficult.
I have loved this place for years. Recently, I noticed that things have gone downhill as far as cleanliness. I dined in last night (7/17) and noticed that there was an abundance of flies around all of the tables. Throughout our meal there were several flies buzzing around and landing on and around our food/drinks. It was really gross. The booth and nearby walls looked really dirty, and need scrubbed badly. My silverware was also dirty. I lost my appetite.
Refried beans are like something in a microwave and yuck. The rice is awesome and so was the shrimp and shrimp but didn't taste or see any fish that was supposed to be mixed with them and the crab had no flavor. Churros could be better and if you don't eat fast they get so hard. A friend's taco shells were stale so they gave her new ones. Service sucked. On came once to ask how things were. Took longer then should to get food and when we did friend's daughter...
