Nipped in for a breakfast coffee and pastry. Friendly staff, dog friendly in the lower part which was small but there were a couple of benches outside which would also have been fine for us, it was a sunny morning. Lovely large skinny latte in a sumptuous pottery mug and Pain au Chocolate that was melt in the mouth. Plenty of cakes and bakes in offer, cold and hot drinks also hot food. Would definitely visit again.
My wife & I stopped for coffee & cake on arrival in Shipston-on-Stour. The coffee really hit the spot and it was served in fabulous, handmade mugs, which we later stumbled upon (and bought!) in MadMolly’s on the next street. The flapjack too was delicious. Our two dogs were very content at Blue Bean, looked after wonderfully well with treats, water and plenty of fuss from the team.

We stopped in at the Blue Bean on our drive back to Oxfordshire, after visiting a friend in Manchester. Walking in, we were struck by the colouful and bright, light decor, lovely atmosphere and the woman behind the counter was really welcoming. Good choice of sandwiches (we went for egg mayo, and avocado with bacon). The granary bread was extremely fresh, generous amount of filling & coffee was excellent, too. Highly recommend this place.
