After 40+ years of living in the highly Hispanic populated region of southern California, I moved to the south central area of Pennsylvania 4 years ago. I have searched high & low for authentic Mexican food throughout the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, but was unsuccessful until dining here at Torero's. The carne asada was prepared & grilled perfectly. I certainly wish we had a Torero's here in York, PA.
Really happy we found this restaurant after years of dining in Erie! Good location, near I-90 & Peach St. Very reasonable prices, friendly attentive service. The entrees were generous portions and very tasty! Exactly what we were hoping for in a Mexican food restaurant. In particular my Steak Fajita salad in a taco bowl was awesome! My wife had a great combo plate dinner. Only miss was the apple cinnamon chimichanga my wife and I ordered to share for dessert which we didn't...
Well how do I put this nicely best i can forst the waitor that waited on us was super nice I did like that thats bout it he was very unorganized didn't get all the items we asked for when we ordered not that is a bad thing but my drink was incredibly strong I got one of the blue margaritas all you need is 1 lol my mother in laws drink she didn't get what she asked for at all, hardly was able to understand the waitor could use a little bit of English language studies...
