“After finishing a road service call in the area I checked yelp for somewhere to grab a quick lunch. Corporal Dee's had good reviews so I headed over. I didn't realize it was in the VFW but it wasn't hard to find. The inside of the restaurant is plain with a few tables and the walls are decorated as most VFW / Foreign legions are.I walked in and ordered a pulled pork sandwich, fries and a soda. I think the total was around $11 and I thought the price was very fair. My order was ready quickly and I headed out to my truck to eat. The meat along with the fries were sprinkled with seasoning and the pork was cooked perfectly. I didn't realize the sandwich didn't come with and bbq sauce so I just walked back in and filled up to small containers with some of their house made sauces. They have (4) to choose from. I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely be back next time I'm out that way.“
“We just used Southbound for my sisters "baby que" baby shower. They were so easy to work with from picking the menus to coordinating arrival times. The food was incredible! And the best part was there was little to no cleanup after they left! Will definitely be having them at our next party“
“You can see from the pictures the brisket is not their best thing. It is over heated and “pot roasted” couldn’t finish it even.why such a high rating?Literally everything else and the staff and atmosphere is amazing.Tips? Get corn bread and pulled pork.“
“Server was great. Very attentive.Bus girl bussed the booth on the other side of the wall from us. Placed dirty dishes on top of the wall tgar shared our boith, where we could see, or bump into. I asked her to take them away. She said thank you and proceeded to walk away. She left them there a while, then took them away as we were eating our meals. Not very nice.“
