“Little shop featuring Hershey's Ice Cream. Staff are very friendly! Only complaint is I wish they would enforce a no smoking rule on the porch. Every time we've eaten here, there are, for some reason, a lot of smokers congregated on the porch.“

“A variety of fun in the heart of OhioPyle!

When our family made a day trip to Ohiopyle, it was a hot day and we were definitely in need of some cold drinks. The Old Mill General Store was open and we popped in to check it out. What an interesting place! Not only do they have drinks, ice cream, souvenirs, and such, but they have a mini museum to check out.

For the kids, they have a variety of old Timey type, nostalgic toys and books. For the adventurers, they have some books based off of plants, flowers, rocks and hiking.

You can also purchase bags for mining gemstones. If you’re staying in the area and wanting something for the kids to do, the mining is a really nice choice. The mining area is right outside of the building.

And then you have everything else that you might need, a ballcap, a T-shirt or some postcards to send out.

I would definitely return on my next visit to Ohiopyle!“
