“I’m a HUGE fan of the Meadowlark. Food is creative and delicious, pastries are out of this world, mocha is absolutely top tier. I’ve never been disappointed. The environment is cozy, warm and welcoming and everyone is always so nice.Got my kiddo and. His friend a burger for lunch today and they RAVED about them (and the ability to add or remove things to make them kid friendly is fantastic!). His friend said it’s the best burger he’s ever had! Keep doing what you do! You are just what we needed in this area!“

“My husband stopped by this morning and picked up two slices of quiche-bacon and a spinach tomato one. He also got a coconut bun, chocolate muffin and a scone. Having the scone with closed cream and sour cherry jam. Everything was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back.“

“We just moved here. Walked in to ask for a takeout menu. It felt so warm and inviting and the staff behind the counter were so friendly that we decided to stay. Our server Jessica was very welcoming. My wife enjoyed the corned beef special on gluten-free bread. She said it tasted like real deli corned beef. I got a large hunk of Reuben quiche (it was Quiche of the Day) and it was delicious! Large chunks of corned beef, cheesy, and a yummy crust. Definitely going back, so many items in the display case looked tantalizing. This place feels like a hidden gem.“

“I love visiting this lovely cafe for their loose leaf teas, luscious desserts, and tasty soups-like the mushroom or lentil. I haven't tried anything else on the menu yet, but I will soon! The atmosphere of the cafe has a very European vibe, which feels very nostalgic to me. There aren't many like this in Northeast Philadelphia. It's a gem!💎“

“We ended up here for the first time because we found no diners were open at 0630. They have an amazing array of specialty (Brazilian) bakery items some sweet and many savory. I'm no stranger to bakery cases and I didn't recognize the items. They appeared baked in site. The hostess even gave us some to try and it was delicious - sorry I can't remember but it was a round roll with savory cheese inside.Breakfast:We ordered eggs for breakfast but I don't think this is their focus. Eggs were cooked a little heavy / and there weren't any accompaniments customary with breakfast (potatoes or slices of bacon or meat). "American diner breakfast" is my personal preference I won't fault them for that.Beverages:I also didn't have anything to drink because I usually order unsweetened iced tea and they didnt have that. My husband said that the coffee was average.They have a lunch menu as well.Only a few small tables inside and a counter so probably best for takeout.They were packed at 0630 with contracters and landscapers picking up self serve pastries to go.The signage outside and premises inside (worn) do no justice to this gem which serves outstanding Brazilian bakery items. Very friendly staff -prices very reasonable“
“Very disappointing . From the wine , appetizers and the one main course my wife ordered we did not enjoy anything. Combinations of flavors just did not work for us. The duck meatballs were uneatable, dry with no flavor. We have dinned at an Italian Asian restaurant in Wayne in (Blue Elephant) which was very good. DaVinci & Yu needs a lot of work in my opinion, would avoid.“
“What the heck did I get myself into. I googled cafes in this part of town because I was on a Sunday morning business trip. I pull up to the cafe with two entry doors which said members only……. Hesitant, I still proceeded to enter. Unsure of what I was going to encounter I felt like Liam Neesen in the movie Taken. It was a cafe filled with Eastern Europeans from middle age to elderly men mostly smoking cigars and cigarettes, mind you it’s 830am Sunday morning. I walked over to the cafe and asked for an espresso to go. Great coffee and great environment. This has to be the coolest cafe I have ever visited, I wish I got the gentleman’s name who pulled my shot he was really nice. Not sure if I was allowed to enter or not, hopefully I can come back and have a conversation along with another espresso.“

“The Brisket Quesadilla is my all time favorite and go to! The horseradish mayo dipping sauce is amazingly delicious 🤤 The split pea soup is a must! My husband and I love it! 😍 Great little spot for lunch or dinner if or when you don’t feel like cooking!“

“My family enjoys this great bagel café. It has a wide selection of bagels and bagel sandwiches. It also has other items on the menu, but anything not bagel centric tends to be as expensive as the nearby Edgewood Café. If you want a bagel or a bagel sandwich, this is the place to go in Edgewood/Yardley!“

“Love this place, freshest boba. If you have never tried boba go for Pearl Milk Tea if you like tea, or if not go for an apple pulp tea or a fruit smoothie. You can get boba added to most drinks. A fee snacks available, too. Best place we have tried in area, and we love boba, started drinking boba tea when we visited Taiwan, so we are a bit picky. Good drinks, has small tables or carryout.“

“Saturday morning 5/3, had a Greta experience with the young man who rung me up, told me his home store Panera bread was Doylestown, helped me with my giftcard checked my balances, let me know I had 5.00 off on my Panera rewards card and the half sandwich and half salad was so big you never know how it will be n it was Great n I dropped my baguette n they gave me a new one.“

While the menu was interesting, seems like the kitchen was having issues with execution. Needed another couple runners and probably two more waiters/waitresses with a full house. Won't go back for food but if the music is good would get a seat at the bar.“

“We originally went for the Sushi to this kosher restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia on Castor Avenue -- but instead we enjoyed and could not have enough of: Halomi Salad and Mushroom Wheel. One was in a friendly, family environment that went over backwards to please you-- and it felt like you were being take care of by family -- in a small comfortable town in Israel. The Halomi salad's taste reminded one of someplace in the Galil that was so good and so impossible to find of any quality anywhere in the whole US; the mushroom wheel so unique and tasty that it could not be forgotten.“

“Big fan of the Borsch Belt because they have gluten friendly options! Actually, they’re the only place locally where I can get the most delicious gluten free everything bagel breakfast sandwich! They are soft with the most wonderful bread texture and delicious flavor. I usually order 2-3 extra bagels for my freezer at home. Unfortunately, this last time I ordered the bagels were rock hard, solid, and bit stale. Hopefully it was a one time occurrence!!“

“This is not a sit down/order restaurant. You go up to order and it is brought to your table. Staff is friendly and while we were there for breakfast, there was a constant line. Not unbearable but nonetheless, a line to order. Food quality was good. Two eggs, bacon & fruit cup with water was approx $16.00. Easily accessible and close to shops.“

“My friend and I enjoyed a delicious meal. We couldn’t believe it was so tasty! we enjoyed the Reuben, crab cake sandwich and tomato lentil soup. We appreciated the biodegradable spoon but we wish it wasn’t so flat and was more of a scoop for the soup. Can’t wait to return!“

“Love it here! I go every friday on my days off with my 2 year old! The one employee, Mikayla was SO nice to us! My daughter was having an off morning & she could tell, she was so sweet to my daughter & told her she could pick out a special smoothie my daughter loved the idea of a “special” smoothie & brought a smile to her face! I hope to see mikayla again!“
