Jesse who came to set up was pleasant, efficient and friendly, we will definitely be using Tina for our future catering needs!“

“We just moved here. Walked in to ask for a takeout menu. It felt so warm and inviting and the staff behind the counter were so friendly that we decided to stay. Our server Jessica was very welcoming. My wife enjoyed the corned beef special on gluten-free bread. She said it tasted like real deli corned beef. I got a large hunk of Reuben quiche (it was Quiche of the Day) and it was delicious! Large chunks of corned beef, cheesy, and a yummy crust. Definitely going back, so many items in the display case looked tantalizing. This place feels like a hidden gem.“

I'm no stranger to bakery cases and I didn't recognize the items. They appeared baked in site. The hostess even gave us some to try and it was delicious - sorry I can't remember but it was a round roll with savory cheese inside.Breakfast:We ordered eggs for breakfast but I don't think this is their focus. Eggs were cooked a little heavy / and there weren't any accompaniments customary with breakfast (potatoes or slices of bacon or meat). "American diner breakfast" is my personal preference I won't fault them for that.Beverages:I also didn't have anything to drink because I usually order unsweetened iced tea and they didnt have that. My husband said that the coffee was average.They have a lunch menu as well.Only a few small tables inside and a counter so probably best for takeout.They were packed at 0630 with contracters and landscapers picking up self serve pastries to go.The signage outside and premises inside (worn) do no justice to this gem which serves outstanding Brazilian bakery items. “Love this place, freshest boba. If you have never tried boba go for Pearl Milk Tea if you like tea, or if not go for an apple pulp tea or a fruit smoothie. You can get boba added to most drinks. “Have visited the cafe on the 19th of August to buy some treats for take away. Have bought two packets of mantolato, traditional finger sweet. Have to admit that it was delicious. I regret I did not buy some other treats to try!! Mantolato has been very fresh and tasty. There is variety of many products. There is parking for one car in front of the cafe, at the main road of Apollonia. Staff has been very friendly. Good job Gerontolopoulos team!!!“

While the menu was interesting, seems like the kitchen was having issues with execution. Needed another couple runners and probably two more waiters/waitresses with a full house. One was in a friendly, family environment that went over backwards to please you-- and it felt like you were being take care of by family -- in a small comfortable town in Israel. The Halomi salad's taste reminded one of someplace in the Galil that was so good and so impossible to find of any quality anywhere in the whole US; the mushroom wheel so unique and tasty that it could not be forgotten.“

“I ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese. There was a fishy taste to both of them. I threw them both out as I have fish allergies. It must have happened from the knifes they used to spread or cut the bagels. This was not the first time this happened. My wife ordered a tuna melt that wasn't melted and the bagel wasn't toasted. These were take out orders so we weren't aware of the issues until later.

The staff, however, is the one saving grace. They always are pleasant and courteous. The place itself is always clean.

Note: The owner stopped me outside of the store as he recognized me from this review. After our conversation, I felt that this review needed an edit. He was very courteous and caring. He told me that he reads and responds to every review. He did point out that our order was not a menu item and they made the sandwich as a courtesy. Therefore, I feel that they do not deserve the rating I gave them.“

If you’re a Halloween aficionado (think Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas), put this cafe on your to-do list. They’re offering spooky themes and treats year-round with an eclectic interior and friendly staff (with a monster 8’ skeleton stationed outside to boot). We got a Beetlejuice latte (mocha espresso matcha latte) and a regzi cappuccino. Their beans are roasted in-house and speciality menu rotates monthly. Def a festive, fun stop.“

“Big fan of the Borsch Belt because they have gluten friendly options! Actually, they’re the only place locally where I can get the most delicious gluten free everything bagel breakfast sandwich! They are soft with the most wonderful bread texture and delicious flavor. I usually order 2-3 extra bagels for my freezer at home. Unfortunately, this last time I ordered the bagels were rock hard, solid, and bit stale. Hopefully it was a one time occurrence!!“
