“I have been going to tanos for a while now and their food is great! I personally love the variety of water ice,drinks,candy and even chips! My personal favorite is there ham and cheese on a roll with light mayo. Overall tano is a great person and def can lighten up the mood.“

“I have never been so disrespected at an establishment! An employee name Alexis treated me and my family incredibly rude. She even went as far as to make racist remarks calling us “you people” saying we are “always causing problems” because we are black and cursing at us. She also told us “don’t come back” and when one of my family members mentioned that she’s been going there for over 20 years and knows the owner Mario she said that he isn’t going to do anything because she’s worked there for 4 years and doesn’t care what we say. I even tried to speak to her respectfully to diffuse the situation and she continued to curse and remain disrespectful. The only reason I didn’t call the police for her discriminatory comments was because my family member wanted to speak with the owner Mario first. SIMPLE TO SAY I WONT BE BACK, which is a shame because the food was good but I can’t justify spending my money with a place who would hire someone like Alexis who is nasty and rude to their customers.“

“After years of telling myself I would stop here for food. I finally did for lunch. Got a roast beef sandwich, some iced tea, and pasta salad. The people working in the store were all very nice. The roast beef sandwich was very good and reasonably priced. I didn't care for the pasta salad, which I believe had in it and was way too heavy on the oil for my taste. Your mileage may vary on that one. Inside of store was kind of neat . It's been around a long time . All in all, it was a fairly reasonably priced lunch. I would definitely go back for a sandwich. The gentleman at the counter said they make breakfast sandwiches, so I'm going to have to try that.“

I went in there for a sandwich and discovered that they have home made Spanish food (hot) everyday and it sells out quick. I have gotten something there everyday since I have been in Philly and it always has been top notch and plentiful. I platter was only 7 or 8 bucks and it was absolutely outstanding.
