“Murray's Deli has been a great experience for years! Yesterday was no different. The BEST OF PHILLY designation speaks for itself.

My cousin can eat lol...but we both needed a box for the second half of our Murray's Delight Sandwiches. They were packed with delicious hot pastrami and the perfect blend of melted Swiss, sauerkraut and Russian dressing.

I also appreciate the fries being hot and that there were not too many on the plate. Let's face it, reheated fries just aren't it. But Murray's is it!!!

Our server was wonderful and there's ample, cozy seating. You can comfortably dine in or take out. Who doesn't love options lol?!

“WARNING!!!!!! Chinese knock off they have zero association with the Katz deli in New York idk how they are getting away with using their name and sign. There pastrami is definitely prepackaged lunch meat that they heat up ?then tell you it’s homemade they just slice it thin???

“Great neighborhood deli with the best breakfast sandwiches around. Boccella's does the classic breakfast sandwich right! By classic, I mean the staple [meat], egg, & cheese on a kaiser roll. They have a good ratio of bread-meat-egg with the perfect amount of melty cheese, served hot. I haven't tried their lunch food but I imagine it's just as good!

My only critique is that they sometimes go on vacation and don't update their Google hours, so I get my breakfast sandwich hopes up and then my dreams are shattered when I see the sign on their door.“

They don't have barista type coffee which I was sad about but they do have a coffee machine you can serve yourself. The owners seem very nice and care to cook your food to your liking. “I have never had such a pleasant experience over the phone ordering lunch meat anywhere else but here. The young fella that answers the calls for the deli area was so kind and he really makes sure you have your order correctly when repeated back. On a Friday evening damn near a half hour before it closed at 8 I had to get lunch meat, thinking I was too late to order and thinking he would give me a hard time I was wrong, he calmly took my order and was very nice. I didn’t get no attitude or cocky looks because of the time. He does his work no hesitation. There’s been plenty of times where I caught attitude towards me at other places and they weren’t close to even closing. I was very thankful pleased and grateful.

Parking: Parking could be a little tricky if you’re not used to the area.

Kid-friendliness: They have little arcade grab machines gum ball machines inside to keep the kids occupied while you wait for your order which is great so they’re not running around the store“

Staff was nice and pretty sure it was the owner was making our subs. He recommended a sub to try and we did. Definitely will be going back.“

Almost hidden in the Jewelers' Row District is a small, hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop that will have you leaving with a big impression: their hoagies are just fantastic! I ordered a 10" roast beef hoagie with lettuce, onion, tomato, hot peppers, provolone, and mayo, and almost had difficulty finishing it because the sub was packed! Everything tasted fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised that the hot peppers actually had some heat to them.Pam, who rang me up, is a very sweet person, and the shop is run by her and Joe. The owners recommend calling in to place orders as it takes some time to slice everything fresh, and today they actually sold out early afternoon as I was finishing my hoagie. The flavors brought me back to family meals made by my Great Grandmother and Great Aunts.

The pasta itself is slightly thicker and denser than supermarket “ fresh” product with a wonderful texture and nuttiness, the ricotta is clearly a high quality cheese with a perfect consistency and moisture balance.
Meatballs have a fine grain with a perfect balance of flavor. Italian sausages where cooked evenly, meat flavors forward and seasonings playing a solid support role. Red sauce is perfectly simple with a hint of acidity and natural sweetness, make it your own with herbs or simmering meats.

The store is divinely scented , well organized, brightly lit, squeaky clean and staff are outgoing and friendly.

Sandwiches here are always consistently delicious, and the cannoli fresh.
