“I ordered lunch from here for the first time using grubhub. I was quickly called to confirm my taco toppings, or should I say the lack thereof. I explained I like them on the simpler side for toppings. I am not sure if I spoke to the owner or not, but she was very kind. So apologized as one of the toppings I selected was currently out of stock and the drink I selected as well. She offered to replace my drink and even said she would send 2 with my delivery! I was shocked I wasn't expecting it, I understand things happen. Once my order arrived, it was just as I wanted, and upon inspection, there was a small gift card for the out of stock items to come back and try again. I am speechless they went above and beyond, especially for the price point of their food, which was delicious and really made my day better. I will now be taking my husband to try the place soon!“
“Great little taco spot down in Bridgeville. I had the Al pastor and a gringo taco and both were delicious. I really loved the green sauce on the Al pastor. Also the service was wonderful and very friendly. They have outside seating right in front and there's also a gazebo in the parking lot for when the weather is warm. I'll definitely come back and explore more of their large varieties of tacos.“
“I had a great experience. I ordered the club sandwich and fresh cut fries. My waitress was super friendly and efficient. Had my drink to me quickly. The food also arrived in less than 10 minutes which surprised me given how busy they were. It was good too. No complaints at all. Nice ambiance. You can sit inside at the bar or at tables. They had a band about to start playing. I sat outside. They have a huge deck. Some is closed in with clear roll-down windows so you can see, but stay warm. Naturally in summer they can be rolled up. All in all, a great meal with wonderful, fast, attentive service. The only thing that needs a little tlc is the parking lot. There's some huge potholes. But we're coming out of winter so it's understandable.“
“I came to this location for my friends bachelorette party and have never been so impressed! We had a large group that they easily accommodated for. The staff was so welcoming and personable.. shoutout to Evan our waiter! Clean location and DELICIOUS food. Eric (manager) was also such a big help and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience! Would definitely recommend.“
“Wonderful addition to the South Hills. The food and service are both excellent and you can't help but feel like family. They are so welcoming and really make an effort to make you feel at home. We have made Tocayo a weekly favorite. The fajitas and salsa and guacamole are fantastic. Great place for some margaritas after Cool Springs as well.“
“This was a mixed bag. There were 8 of us. Parking is sufficient, right off 88, not hard to find. Easy wheelchair access. After ordering, you seat yourself. They don't take reservations. Waitresses bring your drinks & food to the table. You order at a cafeteria counter, but the food is upscaled. They smoke their own meats outside in the parking lot. The menu is varied with brisket & pulled pork as the smoked products served in familiar as well as new formats like a pulled pork taco. Smelled great, but I was determined to try the buttered lobster roll. It was amazing! Small, tender bun stuffed with the meat of 1 lobster all in butter, unfortunately I did bite into a small bit of shell. Hubby tried the lentil, ham, veggie soup. It was a pretty large bowl & really good. His entree was a shaved ribeye sandwich, also excellent, although I thought it could have had more meat. Crispy, salted waffle fries were terrific. Others had burger, small plate salmon dinner, crab cake - everyone was pleased. The desserts were not very good. Creme Brulee & cheesecake were good, cookies & brownies were hard, not good.Overall, I would go back again. Next trip I will be trying those tacos.“
