General Tso and Sesame Chicken are crispy and delicious. Great fried rice and white rice. Crab Rangoons are awesome and we love the fried dumplings as well.

“Came in tonight for a meal and there was a wait so we asked if we could sit at the bar. We were told that there is no dining at the bar but we could sit and have a drink. So we waited but after about a half hour, we saw a large tray walked into the bar and two people were served food. I approached the hostess who said no one was allowed to eat at the bar but yet people were. This is horrible. We’ve been coming here for 20+ years but this was 100% not cool.“

The owners are very friendly and the prices are reasonable. I also love how they’re open on Mondays as many Chinese Restaurants are not, which is a huge plus! “I typically from here through door dash. So the only rating I can give is on the food. I'm a creature of habit and get the same exact thing every time. Beef and broccoli we pfr, egg roll and crab Rangoon. Everything is very tasty. Eggrolls are a bit bigger than what you get elsewhere which I love. Rangoons are pretty standard. They're a little skimpy with the beef. The only thing I'm kind of iffy about is the pfr.... There's a different taste that I can't put my finger on. Chinese 5 spice maybe? You can definitely taste the clove which I don't hate.

“I have been eating at New Garden since they opened. The food is reliable and pricing is good. I have a review already for this restaurant, but this is a specific review for a specific reason.

For over 2 years now, I have been unlucky enough to get my food delivered by the male driver whose FINGER NAILS gross me out everytime he hands me the food, not to mention that he ALWAYS rounds the total up when he gets to your door, like you won't notice.

Please. PLEASE!! make him cut his finger nails. They are way too long; and stop the nonsense with rounding the total. That's the customer's decision.“

“All of the food was really good and there was plenty in each container. My go to order at a new place is Singapore Mei fun, hot and sour soup and an egg roll and spring roll. The Singapore Mei fun is the best I’ve had in years outside of a couple places in Chester County and of course, downtown Philly. The egg and spring rolls were stuffed with nice fresh veggie ingredients and were cooked perfectly. The hot and sour soup had plenty of vegetables and tofu, and was just spicy enough! I’ve lived in Berks County for the past 11 years and this is the first place that I can say makes really good Chinese food. I just moved into this part of the county in November and I am very happy having found this place! Kudos to the owners and chef!“

“Doordash order so I will only give 5 stars for service and atmosphere. Food for the most part was delicious. Egg rolls, pfr and general tso chicken,crab Rangoon. Everything was fresh, hot and super flavorful. My only complaint is the Rangoon ( which I would eat every single day if I could) way way way too much onion. That's all I could taste and they were diced super tiny so every bite was just a mouthful of onion.“
