“My family and I have been visiting Amberdonia for years and keep coming back because of how much we love it. I’ve also brought friends through the years. The décor and ambiance take us out of Kingston and transport us to Italy with their cozy feel. The pizza is baked to perfection and the service is friendly. Try the bakery items too. They’re just as delicious as they look!“

“If there were 10 stars, I'd give it 10 stars! Less than $25! This pizza is a work of art and taste even better than it looks! Stop looking around for the best square pizza in town, it's right here!!! This masterpiece is something to be proud of, wish I got the young man's name! Thank you for putting your heart into your work. Our dinner was fantastic“
“I Need to say this first. My wife has been the one who has pick up our last two orders as this is our new spot for us. Tonight was my first time in there and let me tell you I was a kid again. When u think pizza joint I was not expecting what I saw. It was really cool and if you have not been there you Need go and see for yourself. Not to mention the food has not yet disappointed us and I gave props where Props are due and Tonight as a pickle lover I tried the pickle pizza and it was on point. Next time we order and please know they give the perfect amount of pickles it's in every bite but I want more pickles it was that good. I'm A born and raised South Philly guy who has been spoiled with all kinds of foods and I have to say this is a really good spot to check out if u have not yet. My compliments to the cooks and staff. Love itVegetarian options: Being a Pizza place you can many options for yourself for sure.Parking: They have a Parking lot that you can park in.Kid-friendliness: Without a doubt. Trust me when I say you have to see for yourself.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have on the site parking and a ramp for wheel chairs.“
“The atmosphere and the people are absolutely fabulous!! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have themed weekends and events sometimes. The drinks are great and always served with a smile. Lots of different drink options to choose from!Kid-friendliness: Come in and grab a drink, there's treats and lots of games to play!“
“I decided to go to Shelley's Pizza in Luzerne on November 9th to try their pizza for the 1st time. Finally had their pepperoni pizza and damn it was so yummy! Been wanting to stop there for quite some time now but it seems to be closed every time I'm passing through there. It was easy to find and had lots of parking on the side and in the rear. The employees there were so welcoming and very nice to me and the other customers. I was surprised when I saw this older gentleman working there, pulling his pickup truck filled with supplies close to the front door. I said hi to him and started talking to him after hearing a customer say that he was Mr Shelley. It was the owner who is still quite involved with his restaurant greeting customers as they come in and out. Had a really nice chat with him about his pizza shop, choice of a football hat (Syracuse/Shelleys) ha ha, and the yummy Gertrude Hawk benefit candy bars they were selling. Love chocolate ? so had to buy six of them. Also told him pizza was a staple in my family and how we used to go to the Shelley's Pizza in Wilkes-Barre on Carey Ave. He told me thank you for your business and told me they only make pizza nothing else. The pizza I got was excellent ate at least three pieces on the way home. It brought back a lot of memories with it's big round pepperoni pieces, sweeter sauce, and yummy cheese blend. I will definitely be going back there to try their other different pizzas.“
“A fun bar / pub to enjoy some great NEPA pizza. We arrived on a Friday and had to wait 10-15 minutes to get a table / booth (as was expected). Our party ordered both the round pie and a Sicilian tray. We were warned that pizzas were taking about 45 minutes which is what we experienced. Both pizzas were great and the side salads were very good as well. One problem, when the round pies were delivered the Sicilian was not with them. It took another 35 minutes fo the Sicilian to come out. I would have expected "first in line" service on the Sicilian but that is not what happened. Apparently the Sicilian order just went into the end of the cue. Bummer. All in all, and despite the problem with the order, we will definitely go back again.“
“The food was so amazing that I ascended to heaven and went back and when I realized I finnished it I was craving more than I have ever wanted. It made me go insane and had me foam from the mouth by just thinking about it. When I drank the water my sould went out of my body in shear happiness and came back. The service was so amazing that I befriended the entire staff. Thank you for this life changing experience.“
“This is one of the best pizzas, I’ve had in this area. I’m happy every time the wife says “ I’m not in the mood to cook!! It’s my ticket to paradise!! Great, Pie, great really Great !! Excellent, phenomenal sweet pie!! Can’t say enough good things!! I seriously believe Dave has to come back and try the sweet pie!!“
“Florios has always had great food. Their grilled chicken salad is amazing and it's huge I can feed myself for dinner and then lunch the next day with it. Only complaint is they only take cash anymore no credit/debit cards, which is very inconvenient because who really carries more than a few dollars on them. But otherwise great food and they are always very nice“
“It had been a while since I'd had "good" pizza. There's some mediocre places nearby, but it wasn't cutting it. Took a bit of a trip to visit Antonio's for some pizza and wings, and it was a great decision. The wings were sizable, juicy, and flavorful. There was a good coating of sauce without there being waste after the fact. But the pizza was amazing. The consistency, flavor, combination of the ingredients, it all just melded together for the amazing pizza experience I'd been looking for. The pie didn't last long. Excited to get back and order from them again.“
“Friendly staff, clean shop, and really great food. I had an outstanding chicken parm sub. Lightly toasted, melty cheese, properly cooked chicken, and really favorable sauce. It was packaged so it was still piping hot when I brought it home. Close to Hampton in & Hilton Garden Inn. It will be on my list of places to return to when I travel thru Wilkes-Barre.“
“This place is a favorite. Great rotating beer selections on draft. Pizza is always amazing. Bartenders know us and our usual order as we are creatures of habit but you can't fake just knowing. If you know, you know. Overall, one of the best places in the valley to just chill. No TVs but internet so great place to just veg on your phone, iPad, or computer with some ear buds. Love this place!“
“I don't think I've had better pizza in the valley! Pronto is always hot, delicious, and affordable. They bring a taste of NYC into Wilkes-Barre, and frankly, they do it better than a lot pizzerias I've been to in the five boros! What I'm saying is they beat NYC at its own cuisine.“
“Illiano's is by far the best restaurant in the valley. There's something for everyone on the menu. Order the sicilian marinara pizza...thick crust, fresh tomatoes, garlic and plenty of cheese. If you're not happy, it's on you. It's definitely not the food“
“This is a very tiny, cute little pizzeria! Inside it is loaded with neat, art, and trains. We got a meat pizza, it was delicious. We got a side of french fries that were golden and crispy. The service was good and the bonus is you get to get your own refills.“
“First time ordering here. Called them 1:15 for a pagash and a LG plain pizza to be ready for 4:15. I arrived at 4:15 and I had to wait extra 20 minutes for my order. I think they forgot my order then when I arrived put the order in. They apologized many times. But that didn't help my family waiting in the car for me for 20 minutes. Pagash was good pizza was ok.“
“Ordered today for the first time because our other favorite place was closed, And because you deliver.Blown away! So good!! Service was fantastic. Even though we've never even seen a menu, your guidance was much appreciated.Fresh ingredients, perfectly baked and delicious!“
“I was amazed at how nice the people were. The food was so amazing it felt like the flavors were danceing on my tounge. There red sauce was really spicy it made my nose run. May I add the decorations in the are so cool. It was an overal 5 star place to go. I have nothing bad to say.Vegetarian options: There was a vegitarian fajita if I recal correctly on menu.Dietary restrictions: The made sure not to put any onions in my dads food even though he isn't allergic he just doesn't like them, and there was no onions found anywhere.“
“About 10 ladies in our group, dining on New Years Eve! Asparagus and crab soup was absolutely delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meal, atmosphere, each other's company, and service. No problem with the checks, either.Take note, when restaurants give individual checks right out of the gate, these ladies are big tippers. If they need to deal with splitting checks, the server is not as fortunate in the tip area.We went to Buena Sara on Washington Street the last couple of years, but last year was it. 5 people stood on the side and watched the elder ladies struggle with splitting the checks, and they were not busy. Our group of 10 were the only people there. It was very inappropriate for an expensive restaurant. But everything was perfect with Crisnics. We will definitely be back. We've been to catered events, lunch, and dinner at Crisnics, prior to New Years Eve, and have always been served good food!“
“We like to try other pizza places in the vicinity, but honestly keep coming back here because nothing compares. Food is consistently amazing. New York style. Favorite is the Shrimp & garlic, which is usually available only during Lent, but we always ask if they have it so I'm sure we've gotten it other times during the year. Added bonus each box has a coupon you can cut out & you get a free plain pizza with 10 coupons. Even without the coupons, this place is deserving of 10 stars. Customer Experience is great too! They're always friendly & kind, even when busy. Been going here about 5-6 years now at least once or more per month. Would recommend 10/10!“
“5 Stars all around. Service was friendly and by using pick up times you don't have to awkwardly stand around in a small waiting space to watch 10 others get their pizza before you.On to the pizza. We ordered a plain round and the hot roni. The plain round was the best I have had in years and would rate higher than the best pizzas in the Wyoming valley. Crust is light and crisp with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. As for the hot roni, it is hands down the best pepperoni pizza I have ever tasted. Perfect spice with slight sweetness from the honey. The use of ingredients has a ratio that allows each ingredient to compliment one another. There is nothing I would recommend to improve these pizzas at all. If you ever open a location with seating I will bring my family and friends there weekly but either way we will be ordering frequently!“
“My review is nearly 50 years late, but I have fond memories of eating here as a young child on our biennial trips to the Hanover section of Nanticoke to visit my grandmother who lived across Espy Street from Ruby's Inn. I vaguely recall a bar a door or two down where we used to get steamed, spicy blue crabs, too. Also, a great place for kielbasa (Swantko's on Pine St?) that closed down around 2005 after 80 years in business shortly after I had them ship a box to my father for his 80th birthday. Then there were the candy stores on Front St we used to walk to; both started with a "P" if memory serves. And the hikes up the mountain to the reservoir, eating wild berries on the way. Does the horn at the old firehouse across the street from Ruby's still blow every night? I really need to plan a trip back to Ruby's to bring back all these good childhood memories through their pizza! Maybe I'll finally get to see Concrete City, too!“
“First time ever having their wings and pizza at the strong recommendation of a patient. It was phenomenal. Best wings and pizza we have had in years . Will be a family favorite. Can’t wait for the kids to come in to share this delicious experience. And we live a minute away ……“
“I have been here my entire life. So this place is iconic, favorite pizza, favorite wings. Every time I go in here it takes me back to being a kid going out on Friday nights with my grandparents, marveling at the train going around on the ceiling. If you ever want pizza in the back mountain. It's worth coming up here alone just to eat here! You won't be dissapointed!“
“I had their round pie with onions, the taste of this pizza took me back to the 80's when pizza was made by hand and not machines. It was a 6 cut pie, came out nice and hot. My appetizer was an order of 4 meatballs in a marinara sauce, they had a nice taste to it. When I was walking in I was treated in a welcoming manner. But my strawberry cake was delicious. This place has a little bit of everything. Pizza, Mexican food, and in-between. Check them out, if you don't drive I saw signs for door dash. So there's no reason anyone in the Wilkes-Barre/ Kingston Area cannot get to this place. Tell them you saw this review. Until next time. Be blessed and stay safe.“
“Went there for an eat in dinner. We were the only ones in the restaurant so it was quiet, service was fast and friendly. It was 68 degrees outside and about 90 inside. For some reason, they had the heat running so we were sweating while eating. The boneless bites were big, juicy and delicious. We were very pleased with them. The pizza was greasy and floppy, had to eat it with a fork and knife. Overall, I would give the pizza a 7.3, a good slice. The sauce was tasty, the crust was light and crunchy.“
“If you ever are looking to go for a Santa Brunch look no further! Do not sleep on the opportunity for a festive atmosphere and delicious food. The Santa they also had was amazing. Pizza is excellent. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for a lovely memory!“
“One block away from this establishment always makes for a super quick and easy stop for the family and I. Great staff, super friendly. If you try place or haven't tried the seasonal onions that they put on specials. Its a must have. All there seasonal menus are outstanding. Great job “
“An older property that appears to have been around for 50+ years but very clean (spotless). We stopped for lunch on the way to visit a relative. The food is excellent and the sauce is the best I ever tasted. When I travel again to the area this will definitely be a stop for lunch or dinner!“
“First time here, greeted in a friendly manner. For starters I got the antipasto, now I'm not s salad person but this was really good. My pizza had onions, bacon, and sweet peppers. This was oh so delicious. Definitely recommend all to try, this is a cash only establishment. Until next time be blessed and stay safe.“
“The food is fantastic! It's a great spot for lunch or even if you want to pick up something to eat for dinner. All of the prices are very reasonable and the portions are good as well. I've been here quite a bit and have always enjoyed my food as well as the service I get. Just wish they had somewhere to sit inside for when you're waiting for your takeout order“
“Shandras was literally across the street from me when I lived in Jenkins Twp. I ordered from there every Wednesday and Friday. When people claim that "Old Forge has the best pizza" I have to politely correct them. Shandras is BY FAR the BEST pizza on this planet- and the owners are the sweetest people on earth.“
“Drove by this pizza place several times but just noticed it tonight. Hubby was driving so I googled it and we turned around to give them a try. I was a bit nervous because the pizza boxes seemed a bit light when bringing them to the car. They were pretty thin pizzas. Man were they good!! I really enjoyed the thin crust too. They were not too thin, just perfect actually! We will definitely go back for more. The prices were not bad either!“
“Place isn't fancy, but you're going there for the foods. Burgers are great, wings great too. Service can get slow when they're busy. Diamond in a rough neighborhood. Used to go weekly in college. Then we moved. Nice treat once in a while.“
“delicious. no muss, no fuss. just good. specialty pizzas are more than enough to keep it interesting. pepperoni and hot honey is one of our favorites. killer shrimp scampi pizza, just remember to ask for no rosemary as it doesn't say it on the menu. highly recommend.“
“Finally got around to trying both their square and round pizza since it's only $10 for a 16-in. The round has very thin crust which I personally like. I'm not a pizza professor so I can't tell you what kind of cheese or whatever may have gone into the ingredients to give you an idea of what the outcome is but I thought it was good. The slices are definitely not as hefty as you would find at maybe Napoli's or in the Wilkes-Barre area Nello's to give an idea. But for $10 I would not pass this up. As for the square variety again not a pizza professor but it's comparable to most everything else around here. I would say at least in the square tray that I got the crust seemed a little too hard for my liking. But again no joke for a full tray for $10.“
“stopped by for the 1st time today..everything was very good..staff very friendly..my grandsons 8th Birthday today...Cassie our waitress was very nice..she n her staff came out w canolli for the birthday boy w candle n singing...thank you for a great 1st time visit...“
“I am a new York style pizza snob. Imagine my surprise I really like this local version of pizza. It is different from ny pizza but that doesn't make it less delicious. Oh and what a value 3 cuts (they are not called slices) and a small soda $5 beat that if you can ?“
“We tried Pizza Heaven per a friend's recommendation during a trip back to NEPA. We got plain slices, white broccoli, and kitchen sink, and they were all so good! The crust had the best crispy-to-fluffy ratio with great flavor, and the pizza wasn't greasy. It wasn't hard to find street parking during the lunch hour, and the server was attentive and friendly. I only wish we had tried the wings too! Next time!“
“Ordered 2 hoagies, some chicken bites and the meateor pizza. Everything was delicious!! Highly recommend the red garlic parmesan sauce on the bites and the pizza was . Not to mention we called during busy hours and was told 45 min to an hour for delivery. Food was hot and at our door in 30 min. Get yourself some yummies!!“
“I'm A Regular, Me And My Italian Cana Corso ❤️ It's Or Favorite And You Cannot Beat The Price $ I've Been Eating There Since The 90's In West Brandford Connecticut. ❤️ That's Right My Peeps Over 3O Years ✅“
“Totally loved this pizza!! ? Was amazing and perfectly done! The sauce and cheese are a great combination! Thanks guys for an amazing dinner, and it’s very affordable as we compared to some places that charge $20 dollars for a large pie when it costs just a small fraction of that to make! But Brick House Pizza ? is where it’s at! ❤️❤️??????“
“Napoli's is great especially when you're on a time crunch! They have several different kinds of slices available and service is fast and friendly. The dining area is super clean, and the pizza is great! Perfect place to pop in on lunch break. They have full pies available too but I love being able to just grab slices!“
“My family visited here upon recommendation of a coworker. Very good and surprisingly affordable. A 7-cut was more than enough for us and our daughter to share. We did have to wait some time for a table, but it was Friday and clearly the place to be.Parking: Lots was nearly full and we did have to be patient waiting for a car to leave. (Friday at 5pm. It was busy!)Kid-friendliness: Everyone, staff and other guests waiting, were very patient waiting their turn for a table. My daughter (3YO) was somewhat manageable looking at the fishtank near the waiting area. Expect a wait of 30 minutes plus during peak pizza times.“
“Didn't even know this place existed till we drove by over the weekend. So we had to give it a try.First off, the place is absolutely gorgeous and spotless. We started with the brushetta, best I've ever had. The salads that came with our meal were super fresh and crisp. For meals I had the Tour of Italy and my husband had penne with meat sauce. We loved all of it. Will definitely be back to try more as the menu is huge. It's a must try!“
“My wife and I used to drive down from just north of Binghamton, NY to go to the Victory Pig for pizza. We were originally from the Wyoming Valley and were familiar with it, having patronized it for years. Lately, both their pizza and service had gone way down. Saw in a review where someone switched to Ceccoli's Pizza, and it was like the Pig used to be. Decided to take the hour and a half drive and check out Ceccoli's. It was delicious, with the chunky tomato sauce with lots of onions, good cheese, and a nice crisp crust. Their pork bbq is also great. Ann, the charming lady at the counter, was very accommodating and friendly, with a nice smile. Ceccoli's has great Old Forge style pizza, in my opinion, it's better than the places in Old Forge, as well as a very nice varied menu and all at a very reasonable price. Just keep in mind that it's takeout only, but worth the little bit of inconvenience.“
“We visited here on a Saturday evening around 4 pm. I highly recommend reservations, especially on the weekends, as they did fill up pretty quickly. The Chicken marsala I ordered was very good! It came with your choice of pasta, and I chose angel hair. I also enjoyed the personal meat lovers pizza we ordered as an appetizer. My friend loved their Italian wedding soup and eggplant parm. Overall, our experience here was very good, and we would definitely visit again.“
“Let me say this up front: We went for pizza at the Fort Cafe in Forty Fort and left disappointed. Not because the pizza was bad. Quite the contrary. The 8-cut, Old Forge-style pizza was very tasty, with a baked crust topped with a balanced amount of tangy sauce, chunks of tomato, and cheese. It certainly wasn’t because of the staff. Our server was extremely friendly and delightful, making us feel right at home within 10 seconds with her glowing, warm smile. The reason for our dismay stems from the fact that we didn’t ignore our hankering for pizza and missed out on what appeared to be some amazing dishes. We arrived fairly late on a Friday evening at around 7:40, and were perplexed that – although the restaurant closes at 9 p.m. – we may have missed being served a meal because we arrived after 7:15. Really? All we wanted was to sit, eat some pizza, and leave. However, we completely misjudged our expectations. We were fortunate enough to get a table anyway, and after looking at the menu, realized that Fort Cafe is no mere pizza parlor with an attached bar. Selections such as chicken or veal saltimbocca, scallops, shrimp vodka, baked gnocchi, and other dishes looked exquisitely enticing. Combine that with some wine, and one has an enjoyable experience.Chef Jeff Piazza, who was once the co-owner of fine dining restaurant Gelpiaz in Kingston (now Kevin’s) and the nearby Whitehouse Diner, is at the helm of this tiny, unassuming eatery. He brings with him years of experience, and I’m very much looking forward to returning. Our table afforded me the advantage of peeking into the kitchen, where I was able to see him toss food in a pan over large flames. After glancing at what was eventually being brought out to patrons, I was envious. The meals looked very appealing, and here I was slumming it with only pizza. From what I’ve been told, since the menu consistently changes, checking Facebook for daily posts is recommended. Although the dining room is simple and small, with the tables being very closely arranged, one does not feel cramped. The small venue makes for a comfortable, friendly neighborhood vibe.So check Facebook, make a reservation, and eat delicious pizza only if you must. But I feel I must warn you that you’ll likely miss out on a very splendid dining opportunity if you do.“
