“I was walking down Main Street toward the theater when I came across this small, quaint establishment. I stopped in and found the food to be fresh and good, and the bathrooms were very clean and well maintained.
I'm also writing this because I happened to be there during the incident involving the restroom on the day of the parade in the Franklin area. I personally witnessed what happened, and I feel that some additional context is important.
The woman appeared to be in a hurry to use the restroom and went inside. When she came back out, the business owner politely asked whether she was planning to purchase anything. She explained that she had only needed to use the restroom. The owner then explained that the restroom was not a public restroom. There is also a sign posted near the entrance indicating that the restroom is for customers and is not a public facility.
I understand that when someone urgently needs a restroom, it can be an uncomfortable situation, and I don't think anyone needs to be publicly humiliated over it. At the same time, small businesses have to pay for their utilities and maintain their facilities, and they have the right to establish reasonable policies regarding who may use their restrooms.
This is actually why I would ask that the original post be reconsidered and, if possible, taken down. I don't think continuing to publicly criticize or harass this woman accomplishes anything either. She has already experienced the consequences of the situation, and continuing to circulate the incident only creates more negativity.
More importantly, posts like this can make a small local business—and, by extension, our community—look much worse than the situation actually was. Franklin is a small community, and I think we should try to give both local businesses and residents the benefit of the doubt when disagreements happen.
I was there. I saw what happened. I don't believe this incident warrants continued public harassment of anyone involved. I hope we can simply let the situation go, respect the business owner's posted policies, and move forward.“

“Longer than normal wait for my order at the drive thru. All I ordered was a #1 Big Mac meal deal: Big Mac, medium fries, and drink. They weren't even busy, to cause such a delay. Seemed to be a lot horse playing going on. I was younger once too. At least she said that she was sorry for the long wait. The food was fine though. lol! It's getting pretty expensive to even go to McDonald's to eat... Inflation is everywhere and everything. It's all good! God Bless America, the land that I LOVE...“

“The workers were great. I asked for fresh fries and the cook did get an attitude, I just hate warm fries because once it's cold they taste nasty. However, the lady up front made it happen with no problem. I didn't rush them at all and I was patient. Thank you for understanding me as a paying customer.“

“Fast service at the is drive through. The taco bell fries are amazing. Look out McDonald's there is a new king of french fries and it's Taco Bell. The mall parking lot that you have to drive through to get to the Taco Bell is a disaster, some of the world's biggest potholes can bee found here, so bring the kids and enjoy the sights of the world's worst potholes.“

“I cannot say enough about the service we received at Franklin Pizza Hut tonight. They hosted the Franklin Area School District's Jr-High Soccer Team after the last game of the season and everything was fantastic! Thank you so much for a great celebration!“
