Los Sarapes Chalfont is a comfortable neighborhood bar /restaurant where “everyone knows your name” and we love to go weekly.“

“We were 7 people and the waitress wouldn’t divide the bill. We have to calculate our orders and the taxes. Then write down our card info with the amount we each owe. I am sure she could have done it but she said it’s the restaurant policy!!“

“Their pizza is delicious, always get a white pie with spinach and mushrooms. Unfortunately their sandwiches are not as consistent. Just ordered three Panini sandwiches. Two veggies and one bruschetta. The bruschetta was as ordered and very good. We only received one veggie Panini and got some other grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato?? Also the veggie Panini on their menu and online says grilled eggplant, instead it was two large fried pieces of eggplant on each half. Very generous sandwich but couldn’t eat most of it because of the fried eggplant.😫“

“So, I've been here a couple of times now and have had nothing but a great experience with fantastic beer, knowledgeable cool staff and relaxation on the patio. Don't pay attention to the reviews about decor, lack of music and plastic cups. If you enjoy awesome beer and the ability to walk around the village with it in the previously mentioned plastic cups, then you need to visit them.“

“Literally to die for!! Lots of visitors go to the other ice cream places, but just walk down Main Street a bit further and you will literally be in for a treat! We just moved to New Hope and this will be our go-to dessert place from now on.“

I am a fussy Italian cook, and I will say that the Pappardelle Bolognese was the best I ever had!!! Menu is extensive and can't wait to go back! “Overall, I have nothing but great things to say. Most beers are solid. When they have the hand pump beer, they are usually excellent. They could use another bartender at times as it does get very busy on nice days. Overall, inexpensive beers at a good price.“

“I met Marcello and Kiley the week before and New Hope and they invited us to come and have dinner this weekend. We went on Friday and had the back room basically to ourselves there was 10 of us. The food service was outstanding! Came and spoke with us several times, the chef came out, and said hello, our waitress Heather was absolutely incredible so efficient, and yet so loving! we were spoiled rotten! Everyone took home so much food because the portions were enormous. The prices were totally reasonable. I highly recommend the Sunday sauce unlike any spaghetti dinner I’ve ever had in my life, including my trips to Italy.! Thank you, Heather, Pablo, and especially Marcello!“

They offer plenty of seating however outdoor seating is limited. They offer a good selection of flavors, I decided to try to mad crack which was pretty good. Prices aren't too bad, I got a medium cup which came out to be just over $6.“
