My husband and I always dine at Dobbin House while visiting Gettysburg, which is conveniently close to outside of Harrisburg. The food, atmosphere, and service have always been excellent. We've been coming here at least biannually since before we got married. We typically order steak and crab cakes. The entrees come with delicious homemade warm bread, side salads, and baked potatoes.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Dobbin House. The Lee Suite was comfortable and the perfect stay.. It is conveniently located to the sites that Gettysburg has to offer. We walked to the cemetery across the street as well walked to the town square. We ate at both restaurants during our stay. Our favorite was the Alexander Dining Rooms. This tavern is located in a historic building in Gettysburg. We had to wait for 30 minutes but it was worth it. The food was good and the historic building made the dinner worth the wait.
