It was very convenient to have a restaurant at this location so we decided to get lunch since the museum is so large you’ll need a break. There was a chalk board display as you walk in that had some specials written on it. One of them was “Chicken Parmesan”. As you walk up to the food counter, you choose what you would like as there are different food items on display. I couldn’t find the Chicken Parm ($11.09) so asked the lady behind the counter. She pointed to a pasta dish in a round aluminum container so I assumed the chicken was at the bottom of the pasta because I did not readily see it. We also chose a hamburger ($10.09) which had no condiments on it. After you pay, there is a hidden condiments bar. After getting a drink, the total was $25.70. Once we began to eat, I didn’t find any chicken in the dish at all. I also noticed on the receipt that I was charged for a cheeseburger but it was definitely a plain hamburger. The food was o.k. but it was just a weird experience.

Pasta is horrible chicken is black and the food is bland and has no flavor and the food looks disgusting and falls apart easily
We ate here on our trip to the Gettysburg Battlefield. The dining area was spacious. The food was okay. Two in our group had the personal pizza and they enjoyed it. I had the BBQ pulled pork with veggies and mashed potatoes. It was a small portion which was good for me, but not so much for my husband. I didn't have a problem with the quality of the food, but more with the prices. It was very expensive for what we got. We paid around $60 for a family of 4, an average of $15/each. We ate here because we wanted the convenience.
So, we were there yesterday, Sunday, in the mid afternoon, and they were just closing up. But, we managed to have a variety of foods (there were about 10 of us): crab Mac and cheese, seafood chowder, hot dogs, turkey sandwich, caramel cake, and a few other things. OMG, the soup was incredibly delicious as was the Mac and cheese. The hotdogs were all beef and plump inside a toasted bun. The staff was great to us and withstood our chaos as we were all talking and ordering at the same time!! Seriously, we are from all over: DC, Seattle, Arizona, and we've been around the block. We thought this was great.
Get the chili. It is awesome
