We had fantastic food. Our server Jim was wonderful and saw to all our needs, we had 2 small children with us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return when in the area again.

This a very cute restaurant. It's small but very welcoming. The crab dip was amazing. My main course was the duck, which I had never had before, but it turn out to be one of the best tasting meats I've ever had. I strongly recommend stopping in and having dinner. There's even some rumor that it's haunted so you might get a little extra bang for your buck. Prices are very reasonable too, even market price wasn't daunting.

Read the reviews about this place it was a little leery about trying them but they had an item on their menu that we liked and thought we would give it a try anyway disregarding the reviews that we read. Our server Macee, greeted us right away. We ordered an appetizer of clams steamed with butter which was absolutely delicious. I ordered one of the specials which was a ribeye with mashed potatoes and green beans, at the time I didn't say how I wanted it cooked but Macee came back and said how did you want your ribeye cooked I requested medium. The ribeye was cooked medium and was delicious as well as the rest of the dinner. My husband ordered the duck breast served with the fingerling potatoes and green beans and this too was delicious even though it was cooked a little too well for him that was his fault as he did not ask for it the way he liked it which is rare but everybody doesn't like that. Macee was very attentive to us, and pleasant. The bartender in the back of the hoof Fin and fowl at hungry run Cellars was very nice and had a great selection of Pennsylvania brand Liquors. We had a fantastic experience here! The next time we're in town will be sure to visit the Hoof Fin and Fowl as well as Hungry Run Cellars!

We looked at the menus on line but did not know dinner was limited, did not know we were sitting in the area where we had to go to the bar for our drinks, did not offer hamburgers they said only for kids. Took over an hour for dinner to be served. Soooo disappointed will not be back

Very cozy place, delicious food we got an array of things, everything of so good and was good portion sizes no to big or small. Not too expensive we got 2 apps 3 entrees and a dessert for around $100. I would definitely recommend this place

We drove by The Hoof, Fin and Fowl and saw that under the sign it advertises with Steamed Crabs, Seafood, Steak & Exotic Cuisine. Well this was a no brainer we wanted to try it out. We looked at the menu online and were excited! Until we saw the menu in person - no burgers, sandwiches etc
The highlight was the bartender and server. Both were nice and friendly. We had the duck breast and Fish and chips. Both were supposed to come with a side salad and rolls. We received the side salad (very small but fresh), no rolls were served. More did any other table get rolls and we overheard them saying “We haven’t have rolls in a long time”.
The duck breast was good, however was sprinkled with duck sauce - not bad, just odd. The Fish and chips were ok, fish was good, coleslaw tart but fresh, and the fries not edible. The fries were double or triple fried, they were hard and saturated with oil.
We had high hopes for this mom n pop restaurant. Hopefully they can fix the issues and make it work.
Again the bartender and server were the best part of our dinning experience. Very kind and nice!

I am not sure the reason why the ratings in this restaurant aren't better. My family and I really enjoyed the environment, music, but more importantly, the service and great food.
Not overpriced and no waiting in line to be seated. We will definitely come back!

4 of us came in from Chicago on a Sunday night. 2 of us had the special which was a grilled swordfish with rice and asparagus. It was absolutely delicious!! 1 of us had the crab stuffed salmon and he said it was the best he ever had! My wife had the snow crab legs and they were also very good! We had carrot cake and a chocolate cake for desert and both were awesome! Our server was Jim and we couldn’t have asked for a better server and as a bonus he was very knowledgeable of Gettysburg. If you have a chance run don’t walk to this restaurant!! Thanks again Jim you were awesome!!

We have paid much more for smaller proportions and not as well prepared or cooked.
Our meal was wonderful
Crab legs were cooked perfectly.
Duck was seasoned well.
Steamed clams were perfect!

Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, able to accommodate us quite well.

Ok, only one kind of Scotch ... but after that a delight. Ask for Sue if possible- she makes the night. Knowledgeable & personable. The food is delicious and all that we had was just great. If the wild mushroom bisque is on specials list then go for it. To die for!. Enjoy!

I love this place. I love this place so much I want to come back just to eat here again. We had the crab balls, steamed shrimp, Maryland Crab Soup (tastes like Granny's Maryland Crab Soup"), fish and chips, and a dozen Maryland oysters. It was so good I'm ready to go back and do it all over again in a few weeks. And then I came back later that evening, when I knew not where to go to get a bottle of wine, and got a bottle of Hungry Run watermelon strawberry and it was magic in a glass. I'll say no more. This place is the giving tree of restaurants.

Food was excellent. The soups were best I have ever had. Reasonably priced. Excellent salad dressings. We ate here both nights we were in Gettysburg.
