“I arrived just 10 minutes before closing hoping to find some pretzels to take to my son and daughter-in-law who live out of state. Not only did I find pretzels, but I also found a manager, Destiney, and another employee, Marissa who were cheerful and went above and beyond with service!! Even though it was almost time to close, they took time to answer my questions. I didn’t feel rushed at all. Their friendliness and kindness were much appreciated!“

“Awesome chili dogs! Love the soft crinkle fries. (Lots of other choices on the menu too!) Waitress was VERY nice! And when your done eating... a very cool mini arcade in the back with retro games! We had good food and lots of fun! Highly recommend you try it!“

“As I was scrolling through Facebook last night, I saw your FB page. I was a bit apprehensive to order but after sending you a text message inquiring about your menu, you responding quickly advising me that your new to Trappe, PA First, welcome to Trappe. Trappe is an awesome community and I have lived here 19 plus years. After reviewing your nenu, I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Dog, Chesapeake Dog, Chipotle Chilli Dog and the Texas Sloppy Joe Dog. I must tell you there isn’t another hot dog location anywhere that would match your dogs! The toasted buns toasted to perfection. The hot dogs were delivered promptly and were still HOT! Each dog was filled with the perfect amount of toppings and you don’t need to add anything to them. The cheese sauce is amazing! I can’t say I have a favorite because I think they were all delicious! My only suggestion is to add french fries to the menu. We will be back. Congratulations!“

“What a wonderful place!! The 50s decor is really upbeat... everything is spotlessly clean... the service is excellent... very friendly. There is outdoor seating if desired. And now the food.... the ice cream is beyond delicious! The hot dogs etc are great... and the French fries are the best! It is simply a wonderful place to enjoy!“

“I finally had a chance to try The Underdog Cafe this afternoon. I heard about their fancy hot dogs and was a little worried they would be sloppy to eat. Let me tell you, I had two of the best hot dogs I ever had. I ordered the Pizza Dog and the Reuben Dog. (And a plain hot dog with a side of sauerkraut for my wife to try.) The hot dogs were assembled like a work of art. You can tell the cook has a lot of pride in presenting his creations. I had to open my mouth a little wider than usual to take a bite of these 1/4 pound Nathan's hot dogs, but they were not sloppy at all and were right up there with the best tasting hot dogs. I also ordered fries (enough for two) and onion rings. Both were cooked perfectly and the fries had a nice amount of seasoning. The UC moved to its current location and there is now a parking lot to park in. If you prefer, you can substitute a Sabrett all beef sausage in any sandwich. They can consider me a regular customer from now on!“

“Andrew is a great employee. I was unsure what to order at first until he recommended getting a cheese steak with fried onions and mushrooms. I will definitely get food here again, the meat was well seasoned and those fried onions and mushrooms were delicious.“
