“Visited the day before St Patricks. It was very busy and they appeared under staffed. The wait time was long. Part of our food order came out ice cold. They removed it from the bill but didn't offer to make a fresh order like we had hoped for. We felt very pushed along. Usually a very good experience here both food wise and atmosphere. We will chalk it up to just a bad one off. Will definitely come back again to give another try.“
“Wasn't sure what to think of a restaurant in a fire house but it was quite good! Every weekend there's a different special and tonight was tortellini baked with chicken, alfredo, bacon and topped with cheese. It was great. The chicken croquettes are homemade and crispy. Very good! With salad bar and two sides the prices and portions are great value for the money. Come hungry! The service is also great - so friendly and sweet! They even chased us down in the parking lot to return the hat I left behind!!! PS: the lemon meringue pie was "slamming"!“
“Great home made Food. My husband had the seafood pasta with red sauce. It was delicious. I had the chicken parm. Again outstanding. Our server was Deanna. Very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the freshly breaded mozzarella. Five stars on that recommendation. Thank you Deanna. We are from Virginia visiting relatives. We are looking forward to a return visit.“
“We came to Big Phil’s a few weeks ago last minute in a big group. They were SO nice and accommodating! Got a few tables set up for us in no time and were happy to do it. Food was delicious and drinks were cold. Will definitely be coming back!“
“Might be our favorite place to get burgers. Never had a remotely bad experience here. Service has always been good and for a bar, it’s not too loud. Even when there’s live music, you can still have a conversation. Love coming here and can’t wait to go back.“
“What an awesome experience! The food (I had the spicy chicken) was a new type of dish for me, and it surpassed my expectations. It was simy unique and delicious to my taste buds. Our server was super attentive and friendly, and the cook (which I assume is the owner) came out to thank everyone for our business. If you care for support local business, I would suggest going out of your way to find this amazing place. They make you feel like you are part of their family.“
“From drinks, appetizers, to main course and dessert always over the top! One person especially causes our dinning experience to be the absolute best is Jennifer the waitress. Always there, always checking. We really don't know what they would do without her!!“
“We generally have breakfast there, the staff moves about like interpretive dancers serving the patrons, cleaning tables but the real show is in the kitchen, everyone has a job and the staff helps each other out, truly a local landmark to be enjoyed and no other can take it's place.“
“My friend and I tried for the first time today, it was amazing. The staff was super super nice , food was very fresh and hot. Our drinks were amazing as well, I got a caramel iced cappuccino and my friend got a Mango strawberry smoothie. Definitely coming back!“
“My husband and I love love love Java. From our first weekend living in the area we gave it a shot and fell in love! The owners are so kind and friendly, they always remember you if you’ve been there a few times and small things like that really make a difference. Their coffee is great, the breakfast bagels are even better!! Seriously get a bagel sandwich and thank me later ? we absolutely love them! So happy they’re open everyday now :)“
“We love this place, we have never been disappointed, except when we forgot it closes at 1:30, 7 days a week. The food is generous in amounts, they have a creative menu, but also offer lots of comfort food and good old stand-bys. It has clean restrooms, and a friendly helpful staff. If you want to grab a bite as a solo diner, there is even a breakfast bar to get a quick meal or snack. We cherish it as a place to run into our old neighbors and friends. Quiet chatter permeates the air mixed with a few joyful chirps when old friends meet. We had to move from the area and stop back whenever we can.“
“The food consistently delights with his delicious and fresh flavors. The portions are generous and sharing the satisfying dining experience. The service is characterized by its friendly and efficient nature and sharing the customers are promptly attended to.“
“Been going here for years and will continue to do so but keep forgetting to do a review. Deb and Bill are terrific hosts and put out amazing food. From a nice salad bar to a chicken Kiev or a juicy filet, they have something for everyone and perfectly prepared. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. You can thank me later. Lorenzo approved!!“
“We moved to the area recently. Pleasantville Diner quickly became our go-to spot for breakfast whenever we eat out. The food, service, and pricing are all great. We bring friends and family here with us to show off. It’s that good. Looking forward to many many more visits in the coming years. Thanks for providing such a wonderful spot for breakfast, Pleasantville Diner.“
“I was Limerick around lunchtime. The parking lot was crowded, which is a good sign in a new place. I took a seat at the counter. I looked at the other diners plates. Most were eating eggs. It's a all day breakfast place. I had breakfast. I looked at the menu's lunch options. I do not ferment remember anything unique or special, but they had a patty melt. For whatever reason restaurants sell burgers but not patty melts. The server said it's a popular item, and she recommended the 8 oz. over the 4 oz. It was excellent not greasy and came as I ordered it. My drink was water which she constantly refilled. After lunch I asked to go to the bathroom. It was off the back porch which was not visible from the counter. Nice option on a nice day.“
“Nice local place with great food and very reasonable prices. Service is excellent, with an attentive waitstaff. Photos include the White Russian (cheesesteak with bacon and provolone) and Rachel (cornedbeef with coleslaw).Parking: Private lot with additional street parking if needed.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere.“
“This place is quaint and has been in business for a few decades. The owners are friendly and it’s family owned. The prices are decent and food is good! What more is there to say! Oh, it’s cash only, so if you don’t want to pay an ATM fee then bring some with you!“
“I love this place! I'm usually not a huge breakfast person but their baked oatmeal's with fresh fruit are to die for. The service is always good - very attentive. They also apparently have beer? Haven't had it but definitely worth a mention!“
“Consistently enjoyable meals. Cozy indoor options in the winter and an inviting outdoor space in the warmer months. Service is friendly and attentive. Worth a visit.Parking: Plenty of sports in their lot. Parking area is unpaved so it can be a little scattered, but adds to the charm of the old building.“
“Came here on a whim on our way back home. It was delicious. We ate a buffalo chicken wrap, classic burger, and ribs and everyone was happy with their meal. The staff was also apologetic when my clumsy self spilled my water. They were very kind service was quick. Very family friendly as well.“
“The Bucktown Grille recently catered a Baby Shower for us. They provided awesome service from planning the menu to delivery and set up. The food was amazing. My personal favorites are the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and of course, the Shrimp Bisque. We received so many compliments about the food, everything was excellent. Highly recommend the Bucktown Grille for your next event!!“
“I order online - and they offer custom boxes so you can try a bunch of flavors of fruit butters and applesauces. Makes a GREAT hostess or holiday gift. ORDER TODAY! It is worth it!!! My faves are: Sweet Tomato Butter (yes really) - they also make great all-natural ketchup Peach Honey Peach Apricot So good!“
“Went on a Friday night around 9 pm. Ordered a couple beers and then attempted to order some food and we were told the kitchen was already closed. This was unexpected since it was a weekend and they are open til 11. Anyway, the beers were good, the bar was packed, the employees were nice, but damn were we disappointed that the kitchen closed so early. Saw some people eating burgers that looked amazing. So after a few beers we left for a place that served food later.“
“I absolutely love this place!! I recommend it to anyone and everyone. The owner is awesome. He always makes it a point to say hello or interact with the guests. They have a cute outdoor area along the creek. They play reggae music is so relaxing and fun. It honestly feels like you're on vacation and nowhere near boyertown. They have large grills to cook your own food and servers to help you cook as well. It's a cute little bar area. I wish they stayed open later, but I get why they don't. Prices are quite expensive considering you have to cook your own food BUT you get a lot- meat, salad, potato, bread and a drink AND the experience which is unique for this area.“
“I grew up swimming at the pool here back in the day and forgot how nice the place was. They had a craft fair and the people were very nice here. Lots of history in this place too. The Gatsby pub on the backside is really nice and I hear has really good food.“
“I have been here multiple times and everytime it is fantastic! I do not feel pressured or that it is stuffy. The food is always a 10/10. What I love most is his food has flavor. A big thing a lot of restaurants miss. He knows I will be back again!!“
“I recently dined at Douglassville Hotel Restaurant & Bar, and it was an exceptional experience. The burgers are undoubtedly the best in the area, offering a diverse menu with over 100 options. The staff's dedication to customer satisfaction is evident, as they work tirelessly to ensure a delightful dining experience. To top it off, the desserts are truly fantastic, adding a sweet note to an already impressive culinary journey. A must-visit for burger enthusiasts and those with a sweet tooth!“
“We went on a Sunday. Great casual atmosphere/decor. Food was great, service was great. Definitely going to go again. Going on Sunday during football to watch a game is not their strong point. Maybe 2 TVs. Otherwise, awesome casual place. Recommend.“
“Two of us ordered The Bear with sides of bacon. The difference in their portion sizes was very odd, even the bacon. One order was literally twice the size of the other. The food itself was good, especially the chicken fried steak. I will say that the hunting lodge atmosphere is the best of any breakfast place that I’ve ever eaten at though. The wood stove is nice on a cold day too!“
“The food was amazing! The bartender (Megan) is one of our favorites and the other is Devon. Both women are very friendly and outgoing! Randy the owner is very nice also very pleasant. I would highly recommend you go there! Thanks for being great bartenders and owner. We will see you soon again!“
“Stopped in for a Sunday evening light dinner. We both had wings and salad, pretty easy fare to serve. The wings were prepared perfectly. Theirs are always well cooked (alot of places over cook them) the salads were fresh good looking greens and other veggies, the dressings were flavorful and fresh. Our server was attentive and friendly. This is definitely an up and coming venue once word gets out about it.Parking: Easy to park in the upper lot plenty of overflow space in the back.“
“A lot of good options on the menu. Food is available after the early comedy shows, which is great. We’ve eaten here a few times with at least 4 people ordering apps and drinks, and nobody has had any complaints. This whole place is a gem.Dietary restrictions: They have enough gluten free options that my wife doesn’t have to get the same thing every time I drag her to a comedy show.“
“I didn't eat or drink here, because I went to do karaoke. I had a great time and I love the atmosphere of the place. I especially love the hosts of the karaoke Kathy Kane and Brisbin Skiles.Kid-friendliness: There was a young baby and other young children eating with their families“
“Found out they have 50 cent wings here every Monday, so my family and I came to try them out. We were not disappointed, they were nice and crispy on the outside but still juicy. Plenty of sauce too, and the Bleu cheese was very good. The regular menu was pretty reasonably priced as well, we will be back again for sure. Service could have been a bit better, but it was pretty busy and they had some kind of event going on in the dining room as well.Kid-friendliness: We sat at the bar, but seems like a kid-friendly place.“
“We came from out of town to try this place based on its google reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. We went on a Sunday, and there was like a 20 minute wait for two of us to get a table. After being seated, service was ok…not perfect, but not necessarily bad either. My husband and I both really enjoyed our breakfast meals that we ordered, and we both agreed that we liked the breakfast potatoes here. More often than not, we can’t seem to find a place that has good breakfast potatoes, so it was a pleasant surprise. We loved that they have some menu items that are different from a lot of other breakfast places, and the prices were fair. It’s unfortunate that this place is a little far away for us, but on days we have a little extra time for breakfast, we will definitely consider this as an option.“
“I had not been to Union Jack’s in several years and was excited to go there a few days ago. Their menu is pretty robust with excellent pub fare, sandwiches, and wings amongst other items. We sat outside and received outstanding customer service. Our order consisted of fish and chips, a sandwich, burger, and two orders of wings. Everything was delicious. The strawberry habanero wing sauce is exceptional. We will be returning soon and exploring more items on the menu.“
“First timers to this brew pub and can't wait to return! We were extremely impressed by the beer ?, the Frecon (local) cider and the food! Everything was AWESOME ? ? ? Pleasantly surprised by the generous vegetarian/vegan options as well!“
“We came in on 4/14/2024 with a party of 12. Most of us had never been here before. The waitress was great. She was very patient with my husband who couldn't decide what he wanted. The food showed up and honestly, for the prices was a little too much. I don't mean that in a good way either. One person got a hoagie that came on a hard roll. Another got a healthy omelet that had zero seasoning. Another got the strawberry French toast and it had way too much strawberries on it that it was leaking off the plate and very sweet. 2 in our group got items with buffalo sauce (buffalo cheesesteak and quesadilla) and both had way too much buffalo. So much buffalo that both the roll and the shells of the quesadilla was mushy and soft by sitting in too much liquid. The other few members of our group enjoyed their food. The environment was nice. There wasn't much parking when we showed up though (12:45 pm). The floors were very sticky also.We may give it a try if we are in the area again.“
“The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The pulled pork croquettes were fabulous; I could have eaten 30 of them! Great experience.Kid-friendliness: Oops, there IS a kids menu after all! I guess I didn't see it because I was on a date with justmy husband. We will be sure to bring our kids in next time. Thanks for letting me know!“
“Good food and excellent service. Menu is diverse and large so plenty of options for picky eaters in your group. Prices are very reasonable so it's a great place if you are solo or trying to feed a large group. Intimate, inviting atmosphere as well. Highly recommend you eat here.“
“Hey, this place is the next add upcoming Toms. Maybe a little smaller, but this is a hidden gem and roars for for all the people who've been in this town for a long time. Come check out this place because it is well worth it. People are great. Hey, if you want to become part Of Royersford Come to be apart of the town The Next Cheers Make This You're a road hidden gem In ROYERSFORD“
“You get what you pay for. Prices are a little steep, but that is the new norm these days. Fortunately, the food is quality and makes it worth it. Have tried several different pizzas and sandwiches and have never been disappointed. We drive past the other location because parking is so much more convenient here. Staff is always friendly. Highly recommend.“
“This restaurant is a hidden gem. 1st time here with friends. Was able to accommodate a large party of 18 after shopping at the outlets. The items on the salad bar are fresh and has many choices. The pepper hash was one of the best i have had in years. The beef vegetable was delicious and had lots of fresh veggies. The lobster bisque had chucks of lobster meat. The service was exceptional. Our server Anaeja was amazing. Very pleasant and cheerful. The prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.“
“Stopped in yesterday afternoon with a few friends. They all had burgers, I had the pulled pork sandwich. They all loved their burgers, though yes, they were all pretty messy. One weird thing, nobody was asked how they'd like their burger cooked. The pulled pork was good, also pretty messy, but worth using a knife and fork. Chips were crispy and delicious. Fries were good, but had a strangely sweet taste, not sure why. Almost like there was sugar in the salt or something. I had a Mexican Fanta, which was delicious, if you know the difference. The only drawback for this place is the overwhelming grease smell. They need a new or stronger vent in the kitchen, for sure. But I'd go back. The we“
“***** Update *****Rare to get 5 stars from me, but this place definitely would have earned them if the salad bar was open. But even with that, with today's economy, I understand why it hasn't returned, but with that said, this place still earns 5 stars from me for the quality and flavors this kitchen sends out. You can tell the cooks (chef's) really care about the food they send out. It's still a really great diner to come to for a quick bite or a simple family dinner. Still sad to see they haven't brought back the salad bar since the plandemic, but the food is still great. Always friendly staff and has a great atmosphere. Will continue to come here.*** First impression here ***Three starsOnly because I don't give higher ratings on first visits.Really like this place. Food is good, and it tastes like homemade“
“We held a (coed) baby shower upstairs on Sunday. The staff and management of The Trappe Tavern made planning, setting up and holding the baby shower such a breeze. The food was perfect, the staff went above and beyond to make sure the baby shower went off without any issues. The servers and bartenders took excellent care of everyone. It made for a perfect day!“
“Attentive staff, cozy atmosphere and outstanding food. Dining at Stave and Stables was an absolute pleasure. I could rave all night about the flavor pairings and the delicate touches added to every dish. Tell a friend, this place will put Pottstown on the map.“
“Always a great time and always great food. This place has been one of the few gems of North Coventry for decades! I cannot say enough good about the Pub! If you’re in the area stop in and grab a bite and a drink, you will not be disappointed!“
“We LOVE BIG Daddy's pizza! They have the BEST FRIES!! And my son loves their hamburgers! They're BIG! He sometimes is hungry enough for a double burger & they are so delicious ?!My husband loves their cheesesteaks! They honestly have the best prices around that we can still afford since everyone else has raised their prices so much, BIG DADDY'S IS THE BEST!They are nice & hard working.Good old-fashioned family-owned pizza shop! You feel good that you're getting a good deal, good food, from good hard-working people!Highly recommend this cute little shop! Give them a try today!Parking: Quick parking spot to run in by curb inside the shopping center area.“
“Awesome food and good service. Fish and chips are amazing, prices are reasonable and portions large. Chicken cob salad is another great dish, can't go wrong. Bar/dining are in the same room so it gets a bit loud, however that comes with the territory of being a bar/restaurant.“
