“Yocco's Hot Dog King is a 100+ year old cultural phenomenon in the Allentown/Bethlehem area, where frankfurters are truly snack royalty. There are a half dozen of these small fast food outlets by this name (as well as several other franchises and independent dog houses) around these parts. Our reason for stopping- a need for a break after a long drive home from Niagara Falls. Although still 75 minutes away, we like Yocco's individually handgrilled sausages from past visits, and our hunger after 6 hours on the road had us looking forward to the break and even fantasizing about that first bite and snap.We ordered a dozen of their classics, grilled and rolled with mustard, onion bits and a thin smear of their unique savory chili. Each was wrapped in white paper and boxed in plain cardboard. We also grabbed a large size crinklecut fries. We were really hungry, and quickly wolfed down those crisp babies as we drove south again toward Quakertown and then onto Route 313 all the way to Newtown. Sorry. No pics, as that Yelp courtesy was forgotten by our yowling bellies. We scarfed down two hots dogs apiece in the car, saving the final two for our kitchen table. While I wouldn't have them as a regular part of my diet, these Yoccos really hit the spot. No apologies. There will be a next time, and we will also try their pierogi as a side for the King of Hot Dogs.“

“Disclaimer: this place is CASH ONLY and drive-thru only.Potts’ Dog Barn definitely scratches the itch for a good, cheap dog ever since Traub’s closed down a few years ago. The food is cheap and definitely delicious. The garbage dog is one of my favorites, along with the chili slaw dog. In fact, everything I’ve had here is awesome. The staff is friendly and I try to give a generous tip each time I go because I believe in making sure this place succeeds. The Emmaus location is closest to me, but a new location in Topton just opened as well and I imagine it is just as good. Do yourself a favor and grab yourself a dog from here if you’re in the mood for one or three.“

“I am now in my late 50s and have been eating at Potts since my days in elementary school at William Penn. They never disappoint. I usually get everything with the cheese. It's a good simple dog at a great price, with friendly service!“

“I've been coming to Potts' since I was a little kid. They've been part of the Coopersburg family for over 10 years now and don't seem to be disappearing anytime soon. At just over $2 a hot dog with toppings you surely can't go wrong. Every single bit is just simply full of flavor. Hot dogs are normally boring in my unprofessional opinion, but Potts' Dog House surely brings the flavor to a whole new level. My personal favorite is a chilly/cheese dog!“

“5/2023 just picked up a couple dogs the other night for dinner. As usual they were delicious. It's like stepping back in time. Plus located so closely, right next door, to ice cream world, is not a problem. The man who made our hot dogs is very nice and pleasant. Seems like there is a lot of business because he was making what seemed like dozens of hot dogs! Place is cash only so remember that but if you forget I think there's an ATM on site. Enjoy!Kid-friendliness: Hot dogs? Come on.“

“Initially I was going to give 4 stars. But it was really a 5 star experience. First of all the service was fast and friendly. Second the place is super clean. I also appreciated the precautions they are taking at this time. There was a partition and you pass your money but placing into a tray and they give your change back through the tray. It also seems they take cards. Now I to the food. I had the 2 dog lunch special. I had both with chili, mustard and onions. While I got the standard valley dog shop toppings there are a lot of other toppings to choose from. I definitely want to try some other combinations. The dogs were quite good. However I felt the chili was a little lacking. Not a lot of flavor to me. But not worth taking off a star. I had my lunch special with a bag of chips and a can of soda. The bags of chips are really big for a lunch special. You can also get potato or macaroni salad. That's for my next visit. My dad had the sausage sandwich with peppers, onions and marinara sauce. He enjoyed it. It seems as though the sausage was stewed in the sauce with the peppers and onions. He said the sausage was very tender. He also had a bag of chips and an iced tea. All in all a really good experience and I will most definitely come again.“

“We stopped into Morty’s for lunch on Saturday. We were met by a friendly gentleman at the counter. We ordered steak sandwiches and onion rings. The food was very good. The gentleman running the front counter was accommodating. The atmosphere is just what you expect from a steak sandwich joint. The place was clean, warm and inviting. Would definitely go again.“
