“Do not, I repeat, do not sleep on this place!!! Oh my goodness gracious!! Me and my husband just had dinner here and I can’t say enough great things about the food, drinks, atmosphere, service!! Hubs has the ribeye special and let me tell you, thins thing was the size of his face!! He’s got a large face!! Came with mashed potatoes and fresh steamed green beans, he gave it a 15 out of 10!!
I had the simplest of all things, cheeseburger and fries, don’t judge! This burger was no less than a half pound of juicy, delicious and well cooked beef! Not that frozen patty crap either, FRESH ground beef, made to order and piping hot!!
The drink selection was plentiful and just as yummy!! Vodka cran for me and IPAs for the hubs.
Live music capped off the evening from a very tale talented guy with a guitar.

“Second time I've been here in a month. Not from Philly. Traveling. The first time was the breakfast cheese steak. My son was obsessed with that. Tonight had the regular cheese steak w extra Cooper. Omg. Insane. The bread. The steak. The cheese. I only took like 4 bites but I think it was my favorite steak n cheese ever. Also just great atmosphere. The dude who runs the bar is on point. “Me and my wife stopped by for the famous wings with house made sauce, It was super packed, only reason for giving a four star for service was because you had to go to the bar to get a menu and ask for service.

But with understanding they were very packed. The wings were very good and I would make a trip back for sure.“

“I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

“This is mainly a review of their catering but the bar/restaurant is also a great place to visit!! We hired 2637brew for our holiday work party this year and I am so impressed with the entire experience. Everything was so easy, so enjoyable and of course so delicious!!! After submitting my inquiry for catering on their website, Mino called me right away to discuss our options and created a custom menu based on our budget, expectations, and dietary needs (vegetarian options). This was a rather late inquiry in my opinion (only 2 weeks before the event!!) and Mino assured me that everything would be just fine - and it totally was! We had two staff from 2636brew at the party to assist. They brought spring rolls, spanakopita, salad, meatballs and rolls, coleslaw, blackened chicken and alfredo pasta, and so many veggie options! Everything was outstanding! So many people were raving about how good the food was. And they brought a perfect amount of food. She even took care of our bartenders which was so nice!! Our venue did not have staff to work the party, so I had asked Mino to stay at the party to help maintain a clean space and they really helped to keep on top of the mess everyone was making! It was a HUGE help because I was able to enjoy myself and not worry about the clean up during the party. There was not much clean up at all by the end of the night. Their service was incredibly friendly and welcoming! Meeting Mino actually felt like she was a long time friend. I'm SO GLAD that we decided to work with 2637brew for this party.. they made the party planning so much less stressful and made me look like a star for pulling off something so wonderful! A HUGE thanks to them! As a side note - I also live in the area and went here for brunch the other day and was just as equally impressed with their location. The food was awesome! I ordered the Rancheros (I think that was the name on the menu) it was a bacon wrapped avocado with egg baked in it and some beans and salsa on the side. SO good and so pretty! My friend ordered Lobster Benedict and we also shared a plate of Bananas Foster french toast and ....you guys....!!! The caramelized banana slices and the crispy warm bread with melty vanilla ice cream ughhhh it was so amazing!!! Brunch is definitely recommended here! And service is great, I never had an empty mimosa glass :) Try this place out - you're going to LOVE it! I'm lucky to live so close and can't wait to visit more regularly!“

“This place was a pick for us after we had a reservation at a restaurant that ended up being absolute garbage. We passed this place on the way to the other place and went back here after being ignored at the other place for 20 min. This place was friendly, inviting and the food was good. A good amount of options on the menu. The staff was nice and took care of us. The reason for the 4 stars was because they are a bar and my friend ordered a lightly dirty martini with olives and after awhile we were told they had no olives which was not our servers fault of course. Shouldn't offer dirty martini's if you have no olives. Other than that the price point, food and server we had were great. I wish I remembered her name.“

“Holy cow! Honest to God, the most amazing service, (we came for drinks and then for brunch) with actual personal service and thoughtfulness. Brunch was THE MOST AMAZING food I have ever tasted. I kept talking about Michelin stars because of the blend of flavors and presentation! We had Matia as a bartender one night then Brendan for brunch, honestly, it’s like old time service, with actual care for our happiness and pleasure. I cannot say enough about his place! “We absolutely love the Westgate Pub. We recently had my daughter's first holy communion party in their private room and it was spectacular. Our server was great, the food was delicious, and the party decor and planning was beautiful and out of this world. Sue goes above and beyond with her decorations at Westgate. They treat you like family and they are our favorite local restaurant hands down. Highly recommend for events, lunch/dinner, or casual drinks at the bar! Thank you Westgate!!!“

“Great food, delicious, & so many options. Large draft beer selection. The only drawback was noise level. Group of guys were so loud that you could not have your own conversation. Suggest groups be seated in adjoining room. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend a visit there.“

“Went in early Saturday night with a larger group of friends. They directed us to the small bar on the right of the entrance and we had a fantastic time. The service was great, our bartender was friendly and efficient. The drinks were DELICIOUS! My friends commented it was one of the best espresso martinis they’ve ever had!“

“Stopped in at Phoenix Bar & Grill in Aston, PA and tried the Butter Chicken Rice Owner Special and it did not disappoint! The food was flavorful, fresh, and really hit the spot. Drinks were just as good, made well and served quickly. Great service and a relaxed atmosphere rounded out the experience. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area!“

“I come here fairly regularly with my running group. This a great neighborhood bar, the owner is awesome and super friendly. The food is also better than you'd expect for a dive bar, but it still has the dive bar charm. This is easily my favorite bar up the hill in Manayunk“

“This place used to be my favorite but it’s gone down since I first started coming at least ten years ago. It took us almost 20 mins to get cashed out and even longer to get a drink from the bar. They didn’t have wings the last time I went and the back bar was closed. They need a Philly School District Calendar to add extra staff when there will be an early dismissal“
