They recently updated their awning so it now has "Public House" in larger letters larger than "Lew's" so I temporarily panicked that it might have changed owners. Fortunately its still the same. If you like a nice cold beer and fresh seafood this is a great casual spot.“

“Went on a date night with my man and we had a great time. The food was very well cooked and seasoned. We got pretzels that were delicious. The mustard had wasabi so it was veryyy spicy and it also came with melted cheese on the side that I loved. Then I got the Schwab burger and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a salmon burger but he didn’t love it. I’m not a beer girl but they had cocktails and it was an amazing drink. I forget the name sorry! The service was great, Leo was our server he was very nice and we got everything we asked for in a timely manner. The atmosphere was nice, just loud on a Saturday night. There’s a shop to buy beer and a pool table. I think there’s an upstairs but we didn’t go up there. Would recommend for girls night, date night, and just casually getting together.“

“I just joined Five Iron Fishtown and I love it. The location is great and I love the vibes of the inside. The hours are perfect as I generally go to use the simulators before work in the morning and work on my swing or play a round. I’ve also had a few lessons with Senior Golf Pro Matt Davis and I can already tell my swing has gotten better. With the technology they have and following Matt’s direction I feel like I’ll be performing a lot better once I get on an actual course. Highly recommend.“

“A home away from home for Commanders fans living in Philadelphia. Old Bay is featured heavily on the menu, as it should be. They easily accommodated our walk in party of 14 and put up with us playing "Hail To The Redskins" on the jukebox repeatedly.

“We just discovered this place after dining in Chestnut Hill for over 7 years. We could not be more in love. Incredible sandwiches. Such a laidback, cozy vibe. “We got the miso Caesar, Italian hoagie, bahn mi, and which ever non alc fruity drink with the passion fruit in it. The miso Caesar salad was delish until I connected the smell to a memory which was ~vintage Tupperware~. I couldn’t eat anymore after that but before I had that thought it was delish. Sandos were amazing and the drink was yummy! Service was perf per usual.“

“One of the best places to become a regular at great drink, great food, great prices. Staff, especially management staff, are lovely and care about their customers. Alone? No problem, they've got cool and interesting people behind the bar who want to chat. With a group? They've got tables for you.

Vegetarian options: Cold spicy noodles, and vegan burgers always available. Great salad option as well.

Parking: Street larking available on Frankford Ave and side streets. Easy to find parking after 4-5pm.

“Really like this place. Have been coming for a few months now. They make a good drink and the food is great. Love the chicken quesidillas! The staff is friendly and attentive. The size of the bar is really big, with lots of room for the tables, too.“

“It’s harder and harder to find a good cocktail for under $20 in a big city. Poison Heart gives you excellent cocktails, great small bites, and an unpretentious environment in spades. Oysters and waffle fries hit. The Songs About Keri is a quaffable, less sweet version of a good margarita. The Goodbye Horses is a nicely acidic, bright redo on a classic Old Fashioned.“

The food and drinks were all fabulous - Bar Jawn has a chill, relaxed atmosphere but boasts an elevated bar menu that is so much more and so far beyond typical bar food! Some of our favorites were the drunken ravioli, the buffalo arancini (so inventive!!!), the chicken parm (make sure you get it with ravioli!), the mozzarella triangles (mozz sticks with an upgrade!) and the eggplant stack! The pizza cost $10.00, which is good value.“
