“It was alright, no complaints other than the sandwich being under seasoned. I heard a lot about this place but can't say it lived up to expectations. Not that it dissapointed either, just fell somewhere in the middle for me. Maybe I just visited on an off day but for the price I don't think I'd go back.“

“Every time I've been here the food and drinks have been excellent and very reasonably priced, The Service is always exceptional and very friendly. It's one of the best spots in the neighborhood. Also don't sleep on the French toast or the martinis.“

“We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here in September 2024. We had about 50 people and were able to rent out the entire indoor space. The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our menu and bar options. Planning with them was a breeze. We were very happy with the food. We actually had a difficult time hitting the minimum at the end of the night! We highly recommend hosting your private party at Chestnut Hill Brewing!“

“CBC has become a staple in the community. Since their opening, their presence as a location where you can ALWAYS find something great to eat coupled with cool employees has always been felt. Love the location, vibe, and most importantly the food. Please keep up the great work and adding great items to the ever growing menu.“
“This brewery has some of the best beer in the states in my opinion.
We have been to over 100 breweries and its not uncommon for us to find one amazing beer or good all around but its rare to find a tone of amazing beers and that is what we found.
Orange crush beer was amazing and if you like hazys with a very fruit forward taste (like me) this would be right down your ally.
The Peanutbutter porter had great smooth peanutbutter taste without bwing overwhelming or too sweet. I think peanutbutter is perfect for porters and this is a prome examplem. Also i am really bias tword draft over canned but the pog sour was the best sour i have had in a long time. The perfect mix of sweet and sour with deep passion fruit and orange flavors.
The staff is also phenomenal. Great with recommendations, super friendly and generous with samples. We talked to some of them for a long time while it was slower.
The atmosphere is pretty great too. Huge bar island with good seating, and plugs that makes it easy to talk with people. The obey thing with the bar I would change is how close the chairs are. They were almost all touching so getting in is tricky.
The internet was actually pretty good here too. We worked here for a few hours on a weekday and it was fast and quiet enough to work (though gets a bit louder later)
I will be back whenever I can and if I ever live in philly again this will be my spot.“

“Parkway Corner Deli is a reliable modern deli with a great selection of breakfast sandwiches, hoagies, snacks, and drinks. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite in the morning or picking up something satisfying for lunch, they’ve got you covered. The shelves are stocked with all kinds of chips and snacks, and there’s a nice variety of beers and sodas to go with your meal. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re nearby.“

“I love this bar. The service is great! The bartenders are amazing. Especially Misty!! I made a great friend by going here on Friday afternoons when I go to meet my boyfriend on Fridays after work. We always have their food. Pork sandwiches and roast beef sandwiches are delicious. The owner is a great guy and always makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in Cherry Street!!’ I also love their music. They play all the old classics and some recent stuff as well.“

“Great craft beer menu. We ordered a few appetizers: plain nachos (large plate; very cheesy & delicious), margarita pizza and fried pickles (both were very good). Bartenders were very attentive. It’s a converted bank so you can still see the vault which is a cool feature. Highly recommend.“

“Love the atmosphere and really enjoy their beer. Would be nice if they did happy hour on Friday like they used to. It does stink you can't bring your own food in especially because their food trucks don't appeal to everyone.... esp the non meat eater who doesn't want to rely on something fried. Bartenders are always friendly.“

“Jaffa is redone into a stunning venue for great food and excellent service. 3 of us shared several dishes from the Cold and Hot sections of the menu; each of which was a creative bundle of flavors that looked beautiful and tasted great. Our server, Jose, provided excellent service, knew the menu and the wine list well, and guided us to make very good choices based on our interests and preferences. It was a great experience.“

“If you haven’t tried the “rolls,” you’re missing out. Take it from a dude with moobs. I know good food. I f$cks with food. The cheesesteak rolls are delicious to the point of ordering an extra one because you’ll be mad you didn’t get another one. The salmon rolls are, again, one of the reasons Chase’s is a little gem. It’s what makes Philadelphia a city claim passionately. This food is made with love and I love this food!“

“I have been coming to Freddy & Tony's since i was born! As soon as you walk in they make you feel like your family. If you do not speak Spanish or know how to read Spanish that is not a problem here their menu is biligual, and so are the staff. This place is were I go to get a home style meal from the islands. My favorite is their sweet plantain, stewed chicken, arroz con gandules, and salad(***put oil and vinegar on it not salad dressing it cuts the fat from the food you're eating to refresh you pallet). They have tons of options to choose from too, just know that if you going here on a Saturday or Sunday be ready for a crowd because this is THE best place to go for Puerto Rican food in Philly!“

“Great neighborhood eatery. We sat outside with the dogs, the server brought a bowl of water for them. The salmon burger and the chicken sandwich were very good, a plentiful serving size, and the fries were well seasoned. Server and hostess were both very friendly!“
