“I ate here on a Friday with my husband and toddler around 3pm. It was surprisingly kid friendly, and as a bonus loud enough that when my kid had a mini fit, the customers could barely hear him (IYKYK lol). All that aside, the food was fantastic. The cheesesteak was crazy good, as was the jalapeño slaw, the fries, and the victory burger. The beer was obviously amazing too. My husband only wished that the victory burger was a bit bigger! Make sure to try one of the rotating beers they brew on site!

“Went on a date night with my man and we had a great time. The food was very well cooked and seasoned. We got pretzels that were delicious. The mustard had wasabi so it was veryyy spicy and it also came with melted cheese on the side that I loved. Then I got the Schwab burger and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a salmon burger but he didn’t love it. I’m not a beer girl but they had cocktails and it was an amazing drink. I forget the name sorry! The service was great, Leo was our server he was very nice and we got everything we asked for in a timely manner. The atmosphere was nice, just loud on a Saturday night. There’s a shop to buy beer and a pool table. I think there’s an upstairs but we didn’t go up there. Would recommend for girls night, date night, and just casually getting together.“

“We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here in September 2024. We had about 50 people and were able to rent out the entire indoor space. The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our menu and bar options. Planning with them was a breeze. We were very happy with the food. We actually had a difficult time hitting the minimum at the end of the night! We highly recommend hosting your private party at Chestnut Hill Brewing!“

“One of the best places to become a regular at great drink, great food, great prices. Staff, especially management staff, are lovely and care about their customers. Alone? No problem, they've got cool and interesting people behind the bar who want to chat. With a group? They've got tables for you.

Vegetarian options: Cold spicy noodles, and vegan burgers always available. Great salad option as well.

Parking: Street larking available on Frankford Ave and side streets. Easy to find parking after 4-5pm.

“We went there Saturday for an early dinner. Great atmosphere, love that you have games available to play. Food was delicious our only complaint would be your fries, tasted fantastic but the minuscule size we were not a fan of! Very hard to consume with them being so tiny. I am not a beer drinker but my husband and son we fans!“

“Great place for kids! They have an arcade, a playground and if you have dogs they also have a space for your dogs. Overall I liked the place because I was able to let my kids play while the adults ate and drank. The food was ok and the beer was good. I’d definitely go back here“

“Had my husband’s 40th surprise birthday here. Turned out amazing! The planning and the set up was great , and I liked the communication with the follow up throughout. Then the day of the event, staff just went above and beyond. So glad that we celebrated here. “Mainstay has amazing beer & food in a great open space. The beers are outstanding-- consistently flavorful and crisp. The food selection is also great, especially the pizzas. The facility is large and "open" with a great play area for kids and an area for private parties (that I learned last night they also open and use for live music when no parties are scheduled). The staff is friendly and helpful and very attentive. We highly recommend Mainstay and look forward to our next visit!“

“I have come to this bar for going on two years and literally every time has been a joy. The entire staff, from owners to seaters, are friendly and engaging. The food is always amazing (especially the Shrimp Tettrazini) and the drinks are quick, delicious, and reasonably priced.

I’ve had the most interactions with the bar staff, and they’re all absolutely amazing.

I quite literally recommend tannery to anyone I know, and will continue to!“
