“This brewery is located at 5th street and Spring Garden street. It has a varied menu and I tried the hummus platter which was rich and smooth. Very fresh vegetables and warm pita triangles. A love stout vanilla beer which was smooth n creamy. My friend had an American burger with fries "very juicy" she like the fries too. My other friend had pork belly on bao buns steamed he said it was okay but he isn't pleased with most things unless his Mom makes it. Service was fantastic!! We ate outside in an enclosed area with ceiling heaters. Quieter. Inside there is a rectangular bar and a huge room filled with Highwood and picnic tables with TVs all around. A great place to meet friends and hangout to watch sports. There beers are excellent.“

Dock Street Brewery South Brewery • $$
2118 Washington Ave, Philadelphia

“Came here for some food, drinks, and holiday themed trivia (apparently it's called Quizzo in Philly?? Who knew) right before Christmas when I came into town to visit my cousin. We sat at the bar and received prompt and friendly service. The cocktails were refreshing and tasty and the food was decent. My only complaint was that the bar stools are definitely made for people with smaller behinds than I have. I ended up foregoing the stool and standing for most of the time we were there. The bathrooms were nice and clean and prices were very reasonable. I can see why this place is so popular!“

Mainstay Independent Brewing Company Brewery • $$

“Mainstay has amazing beer & food in a great open space. The beers are outstanding-- consistently flavorful and crisp. The food selection is also great, especially the pizzas. The facility is large and "open" with a great play area for kids and an area for private parties (that I learned last night they also open and use for live music when no parties are scheduled). The staff is friendly and helpful and very attentive. We highly recommend Mainstay and look forward to our next visit!“

“Perfect for families!!! After a day in the city, we were desperate for a place to grab a bite to eat and a drink somewhere that was family friendly. We knew nothing about Craft Hall and stumbled upon it by chance. This place has an arcade room, indoor playground, off-leash dog park, and a full bar all-in-one!!! Plus, the food was actually really good!!! Pulled pork was excellent (not too salty) and the pretzel/fries were hits with the kids. Great atmosphere and staff for a family.“

“Had a great time at Manayunk Brewing Company and gotta give it 5 stars! Matt, the bartender, was top-notch, making sure we were all set with drinks and good times. We dove into the buffalo chicken dip first, so good – just the right kick. The Spicy jalapeño margaritas? Spot on. And the arugula and goat cheese flatbread was the kind of thing you'd want to eat every day – fresh, with a bit of tang from the goat cheese, just perfect. It's clear these folks know what they're doing, from the warm service to the tasty eats.“

“I love the beer, the food, and the staff. It's my favourite hang out spot. However, there are two things about the physical plant that bother me:1) The mens room is consistently a mess. Either paper towels on the floor, broken soap dispensers, or graffiti on the walls. It brings down the calibre of an otherwise nice spot.2) The air conditioning is broken! It's uncomfortable for both customers and staff. This has apparently been mentioned to management a long time ago. This needs to be addressed!“
