I forgot just how far Maple Glen is from Wilmington, DE! 😂 But I’m still a big fan of Wissahickon Brewing Co.
I ordered the Cod Sandwich and four different beers in 4-ounce pours. The beers? All flavorful. The Lil’ Shandy was my favorite—and honestly, it may have just become my summer beer. 🍺

The Wissahickon Brewing Company is a fantastic new addition to the Ambler area brewery scene. After a previous bad experience when it was Brick and Barrel, this place has evolved and now offers fantastic food, friendly and attentive service, and outstanding brews. The menu features delicious options like meatballs, broccoli and sausage pizza, kale and beet salad, and sausage white pizza, all of which have been praised by visitors. The beer selection is equally impressive, with seasonal offerings like an oatmeal raisin ale and a 6% chocolate pastry stout, as well as solid examples of each style. The staff is knowledgeable and excited about the future of this new establishment, making it a great place to gather with friends, enjoy a few beers, and indulge in some tasty bites. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the Wissahickon Brewing Company is definitely worth a visit.
