“A lowkey spot but great food and very clean. We so happened to stumble upon it and we were genuinely pleased from the 1st bite. We over heard someone picking up take out say that it was the best sushi he’s had and it was true. The price was great too. One plate of fried rice was enough to satisfy 2 people and then had about 18 pieces of sushi in total. Once finished, it didn’t make you feel sluggish and gross after eating. Great to see an owner who truly cares about their craft and customers. We’ll be back!“

“I love CAVA! This location is great because there’s no hustle and bustle for the lunch hour. I went to get a bowl because marketing works on me and my reward points are about to expire. I was greeted with a big smile by Theresa. She was so kind to listen to my Generation Y banter and make my seasonal white sweet potato bowl. I especially appreciated Theresa’s custom recipe and guidance, something out of my norm Harissa Chicken Avocado bowl.

I thoroughly enjoyed the white sweet potato and lamb combo with the fig dressing, definitely a banger. Another favorite would be the cucumber lime juice. Kudos to CAVA, looks like the fountain drink options have expanded, I’m a fan. I kept it simple with the meal, but I had to rave about Theresa, affectionately now my Mother Theresa with the amethyst crescent moon pendant. Stay pleasant!“

“Leslie, Was the associate that served me and greeted me at the register I cannot say enough on how polite she is how helpful she is, and just the all-around beautiful person and soul and was so very helpful and really turned my day around after having a horrible month to just have a small conversation with me when the dining room was emptied out and she had just a few minutes to spare. “This is an iconic neighborhood spot. Food is delicious and tastes just like it did when I was a kid in the 80's. Excellent waitress last night who did a terrific job. The ribs, stuffing, burgers, wings and corn muffins are amazing!!!! The space is nothing special but it is nostalgic if you grew up in NE Philly. Its a must try go to spot. We love RIB RACK!!!“
