Came back tonight and had asked them to please make sure it was filled and possibly the manager gave me a regular size to make up for the missing water ice in the quart, I definitely appreciated this, good customer service. Will make sure I always come to this location now!“

“I went inside Rita’s today with my mom. The shop was small and cute. I told one of the workers that I applied for the job as a part time team member. They said that they will look at applicants next week. Anyways, I ordered a cotton candy Italian ice and it was delicious. I would recommend going there.“

“Eat before you get here because the portions are monstrous, so huge I’m sure I gained a pound —or two— in one eating.

Ashamed? Not!

The swirl soft serve with rainbow jimmies was so worth it. Not only was it truly yummy but the ice cream never melted like they do at the other shops. Not sure of the machine they decided to invest in but my cone maintained its shape to the very end.

“This is one of my favorite spots to visit during hot summer days for water ice and ice cream. They're always changing flavors but overall the options are very simple. I also love the blendinis and mistos. The staff here are usually made up of local high school students but the service is still good. Everyone is really friendly“

“I've been waiting on this location to open up and boy was it worth the wait!!! Dre's has the BEST water ice and ice cream in Philly... and if your looking for gourmet ice cream try the sweet potato pie or banana pudding flavor they are to die for I noticed it at the retail location but it can also be found at all Browns Family Shop-rite stores.“

“Quick service and friendly staff. Easy to order and lots of choices. The staff showed me the size differences between the water ice cups. Like that there’s calorie count on the ordering menu. The sugar free tangerine was delicious and the mango gelati was tasty as well. Definitely put a lid on them if you are travelling somewhere and you can’t eat it right away. The soft pretzels looks great too!
Easy to park and place your order at the window.
Maybe Rita’s should start drive thru’s as well??

Dietary restrictions: I’m dairy free so I just order the water ice. I cannot order the gelati sadly. Rita’s, how about dairy free/vegan soft serve ice cream ?“

“Always a nice place to take your kids on a hot day. Not a ton of seating if you plan on staying but the staff (mostly students) are all very friendly and generally very helpful.

Parking: On a busy day, parking is near impossible in the lot as it's pretty tight, and there aren't many spots, but street parking is always a viable option.“

“4 stars because they were out of a few flavors plus a long wait for our 3 orders of regular scoops of ice cream. Otherwise, I had the almond butter which came with whole almonds and coconut which came with coconut flakes. Both were delicious and made us want to come back for more! Will definitely be back.“
