“We chose to eat here for lunch for my husband’s birthday at 11:30 on a Sunday, with a party of 11. We knew this was a large ask! The hostesses were wonderful and quickly got us a table all together even though we said separate tables close to each other would be fine! The food came out in a timely manner and was all delicious. Even my picky eater nearly cleared her plate! Everyone was incredibly kind and patient. They were also very helpful with my nephew’s dairy allergy. We live near Pittsburgh and would (and will) happily take the hour drive to enjoy this place again!“

“Came in thirty min to close. Chicken sandwich was tasty, baked potato seemed microwaved, but still good. Server/bartender could’ve came around a turn or two instead of us having to go to bar to ask for something. She liked her tenders too. Nice they didn’t make us feel rushed. Laid back atmosphere. Comfortable low lighting and comfortable booths. Pickle spears were tasty too! Huge and hot. $35 for two of us. No beers.“

“Absolutely delicious, staff was friendly, food was amazing. We got rectangular pepperoni pizza and was amazing and stayed hot for really long we also got their dippin sticks (cheese sticks) and they were super good. It’s a very comfortable environment and we’ll definitely be coming back.“

“Had a great steak at the restaurant and just based on the steak, it would receive 5 stars. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly to order. The potato was good as well. The reason for the 4 stars is the soup and salad bar, which offers lower end fare from the food supplier. I worked for a food supplier and can always tell when restaurants choose to serve the lower priced options. I understand the reasons for cost cutting, but it definitely brings the dining experience down a notch.
That being said, it was still a very enjoyable dinner, and the steak made up for any shortcomings of the salad bar. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a good steak at a fair price.“

“2 nights before Christmas, we got right in and served quickly. The atmosphere here is awesome if you like rustic cabin/ski resort feels. Make no mistake though, its a top notch restaurant. Lexi was our waitress and she was so polite, gracious and quick. They have an asset in her attention to detail, recommendations and just overall making us feel welcome. The menu is not huge but there's something for everyone. We had the full rack of ribs with asparagus, a grilled chicken salad, two red wines and a seasonal Cinnamon Whisky Sour. Everything was delicious, cooked well, and that whisky sour was wow-memorable. We usually go to Rachel's down the road (owned by the same company) but will definitely start going here more often! “We absolutely adore this place. We have tried many different dishes and while that means I've gotten some I didn't like as much as others, I haven't gotten any that were badly cooked or not made well. The sushi is always great, and the ingredients fresh. Service is delightful, the waitresses remember you after a few times and know what you like to drink. One commenter mentioned the water tasting funny and I would agree, the tap water in that facility is not great. But I don't blame the restaurant for that and I know of several other places in town that also have water that tastes bad. Overall, it's a great place and the food is delicious.“

“My place to go to when it's right down the road from where I live! Really good food big portions. Me and my fiance are regulars here now and alcohol is decently priced. Also very nice people that work here and overall friendly people all around. If youre looking for a good place to eat this is the place to come to!“

“We love the dinner specials here. The staff is friendly and efficient and the food is great. Alcohol prices are good. But the bathrooms really need more attention. It doesn’t seem like they are regularly cleaned. We do like the new tables though. Maybe the bathrooms are next on the upgrade list.“

“Food was amazing. Walking into a team of hostess people who were not welcoming in the slightest was a little annoying. Walking through such a grand entrance I expected more, but i guess thats what you get with teenagers now a days. Our server was very kind but definitely felt rushed she brought the bill mid way through the meal as if we were there for lunch. Didn't even bother to ask of we wanted more drinks or even dessert. “Very disappointed. I'm there every Saturday with my sister who is challenged & has dementia. Just because I took her to the ladies room before paying the bill . ( all my belongings purse, phone etc left at table) a comment was made about walking out and not paying the bill. I watched a waitress (from the door of the hallway to the bathrooms) walk over to the booth and see my purse & still make a comment. No apologies when I said something. She walked away and nobody else said anything. Very rude of them. Other than that the food & my waitress was great. (God has put it in my heart to forgive. I forgive & may God Bless you all )“

“This would have been an easy 5 stars except for two reasons. First of all, they allow smoking on their outdoor patio, which ruins everything. Second, after a good meal and good service, we wanted to buy take-out beer and also buy a t-shirt. We went to the bar to get it and the guy behind the counter was more than displeased. He was rude and came off as annoyed we asked. So did the woman also standing there, not being helpful. For somebody who liked your beer enough to take it home, and also wear your business’s a t-shirt, it made for a lackluster end to the evening and a disappointing return to Slippery Rock.“
