“So, my husband and I were returning home from a weekend trip and I talked of how I've long wanted to take a road trip with no specific destination - one where I would just keep an eye out for interesting signs (museums, quirky stores, historic sites, parks, etc.). The kind of things I think about stopping to check out, but don't because I'm focused on the destination. So hubby suggested making one such stop on our way home - and lo and behold - Wilhem Winery. I enjoyed a tasting - very reasonably priced - and selected some wine to take home. The best part may have been the wine-making museum upstairs. Small, but really interesting. The gift shop is fairly typical of a small winery, but I always find it fun to browse. With plenty of seating, I'm sure this is a great place to hang out and sip wine with friends on a nice day.“
