“The good ole fashioned diner's like this need to be around till the end of time.? My wife and I just moved back from Florida last week, born and raised in Lancaster County. We went here on Sunday and it was wonderful!! Great people, wonderful staff, our waitress was awesome and fun!! The food was GREAT, tasty and wonderful portions!! We love diner's and Hallamshire is now already a favorite we will patronize many more times to come!!“

“Mom's great home cooking with reasonable pricing. Usually busiest for breakfast so prepare to wait 20 min most days, especially weekends. If you want less noise, eat in the back dining area as the front tends to be louder from the kitchen and the seats are smaller and closer together.“

“Always love their food, worked there years ago back when it was crazy fun , but the food is still really good was craving my favorite chicken quesidillas and surprised my daughter , always easy to order and pick up if you don't have time to dine in . Plus they serve breakfast all day and all night long. Always a 24 hour go to spot.Kid-friendliness: They are great with kids and when my kids were little and used to tey to act wild noone ever complained. “Stopped for a quick breakfast. Food was decent, just the regular you'd expect for breakfast, eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Potatoes a little greasy. Place is really bland. Like a wide open cafeteria. Didn't feel very cozy if that makes sense.Anyway that's really not important if you're just there to eat.“

“This is easily within walking distance of what was home for a few years so I've eaten here a lot. Staff is friendly and the food never disappoints. Breakfast is my most often eaten meal here, but also eat here at least a couple times a month on nights when we don't get around to cooking early enough. Not a big fan of eating the same thing all the time so I appreciate that breakfast specials change weekly. It is your basic Cafe with a large variety of menu items, they always seem to do a good job with anything I've gotten. Obviously I'll return.“

“Can't beat it! Try their chicken and biscuit dinner...the chicken cutlet is so tender and flavorful! Mashed potatoes are fab! Not too keen on their stuffing though. I prefer the less herby more butter, celery, onion..pa dutch style filling instead. Our server did a great job. See you all again soon!“

“My friend was experiencing a medical issue and had to leave before he ate. The staff was so wonderful and supportive about situation. I am very appreciative that they didn't make it a big deal and just provided great compassion and empathy. BTW he loves it there so we will be back as soon as he is up to it.“
