4 Best Chinese Restaurants near Hamburg

“Stopped by when I decided to visit Hamburg. Was very curious because I saw a lot of people walk in and out. Seemed quite busy so the lady sounded curt but respectful. They had my food out pretty quickly for how busy it was. Boy was it a treat. Guess that's why they're basically the only Chinese joint in town, probably put the rest out of business.Highly recommend the general tso chicken. It is not too sickly sweet and sticky. Excellent balance of slightly sweet, salty, spicy and sour (get sesame chicken if you don't like spicy or orange if you want sweet). Even more recommended if you can sit down and eat it fresh like I did. It was still crispy which I have never had elsewhere!Also recommend trying the cheese steak roll. It's very gooey and cheesy and has sweet onions which I love in cheese steaks.The beef and broccoli was truly the best I've ever had. The beef was so tender I almost couldn't believe it.Also they absolutely stuff the boxes for take out. It almost spilled over when I opened them in my car. My total was less than 30 bucks and was able to feed 2 adults for 2 full meals.“

“JA buffet has been my favorite restaurant to eat for the last 20 years. We try to go once a week. Winnie the owner is a wonderful lady who works her butt off to provide the best food and service she can. I go thru these reviews and read them and I realize people only started putting bad reviews on after she changed that you had to pay first before eating. The problem was people were walking out without paying and now they are not happy they can't do that. Overall JA buffet is a great place with great food and a wonderful owner who has poured her heart into her restaurant. I'd recommend JA over many of the other buffets around this area.“

“Amazing value here for lunch. For less than $10 I got boneless ribs, pork fried rice and a eggroll. This was takeout. There are tables in here to eat at. The lady at the counter was very friendly. The taste was great. I would eat here again.“

“Very good Chinese food for PA as having access to Chinese cuisine in NY/NJ area in the past we find this local take out Chinese to be just as good as what was available back in NY. The family that runs it are very nice and provide good dishes.“
