“Food was great! We ordered in person & got a wait time of 15 min., on a Friday, around 1:30 pm. We went to get gas and came back about 20 min. later. Still had to wait another almost 10 min for the food. I think they had a lot of internet/mobile orders too. Only reason we ordered in person instead of online was because the person buying didn't want to put the credit card online through the phone. Total price ended up being about $3-5 cheaper when ordering in person (maybe the extra was for credit card processing fee?) All-in-all I would recommend this place if you're near here & craving some good Chinese food!“

“I walked in expecting the usual tight quarters and whatever. It was very clean and organized and the food was amazing! The crew in the back were organizing and taking orders. I only waited 10 minutes for my food during rush hour. Will come back!“

“Best spare ribs and fried rice. I only go here for the boneless spare ribs. They so sweet and the flavor is amazing. A lot of places in the area that serve boneless spare ribs is very salty but China’s best makes it just the way I like it.“

“Today was the first time I ate from this restaurant and I gotta say the food is a solid 9/10,I bought vegetable fried rice with General Tso's chicken,the vegetable fried rice was just right and the chicken was on point I hope they keep their consistency because I'm definitely going back there,the food is great value for your money....“

“I live 20 minutes away and A Gourmet is a constant in my takeout rotation.
I've been coming here for over a decade and still argue that this is the best takeout this side of Lancaster. I highly recommend the black pepper chicken. It's always fresh, deliciously crispy, hot, and flavorful.
Stop by the next time you're in the mood for Chinese, I promise you won't be dissapointed!“

“Love this restaurant. We live locally so when we want Chinese but don't want to dine in, this is our go-to for Chinese take-out(get take-out from here at least once a month). Have never eaten inside, but it seems like a great place to eat. Great, friendly people and great, reasonably priced food. THUMBS UP
05.13.26- we have recently moved out to Lititz and I do miss this place alot. We do go there to pick up some peanut chicken if we're close by or in town.“

“Never been in to eat. We've only ever gotten delivery. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. Food is delicious and it's our go to. When it's delivered, it's quick and piping hot still. You can't beat it for this area (not alot of options in the Adamstown/Denver area). My husband is from New York and he said it reminds him of Chinese food from the city (which in his opinion is the best).“

“I LOVE Best China Wok! My family and I have been ordering from here for years! The food is amazing, the service is immaculate and the staff are extremely friendly. Whenever we order food it always comes before the estimated time it says on the order and the staff always contact us if there is a question or issue with our order!

“I just moved to Lancaster, and life here is super convenient—especially when it comes to shopping and food. I knew I made the right choice when I walked into this Chinese restaurant. The service is really warm and friendly; they take the time to explain all the different combo options, and they’re always adding new dishes to the menu. I especially love their lo mein, General Tso’s chicken, and bourbon chicken!“
