“After reading the reviews I gave it a shot. Tik tok said that the best Chinese stops are 3.5 stars. This was the truth. I went in, it was clean and I had no wait. My food was hot and delicious. Not oily at all. They seemed like a family restaurant and it was tense from what it sounded like out back but there wasn’t any rudeness out front. I loved my meal and the portions were great. Will definitely order from here again.“
“What a find River House was! I love the Pad Thai and the Yellow Curry. I’ve brought several family members here as well and it has quickly become their go-to place for Asian food. My one family member who isn’t into Asian got the fried chicken and thought it was phenomenal as well. Couldn’t recommend them more.“
“Gracious service and good food. I had a hankering for hot and sour soup that was well satisfied here. The tender Kung Po chicken made me realize how overcooked it's been at other places I've visited over the years. The staff were all very pleasant.“
“Excellent quality ingredients and food. My go to Chinese food is shrimp lo-mien and this was maybe the best yet.We were from out of town so we ate there, served on nice china plate in small but very nice dinning area. Looks like most of their business is take-out“
“Kanji is my absolute go to for all things sushi in Mount Joy. Are use the online ordering and pay when I pick up. The food is super fresh and I always have great portions. I seriously could eat here three times a week but my wallet doesn’t allow me too! Go get some miso soup“
“I started going to green garden four months ago. The family is sweet and friendly! I had their general Tso chicken, crab Rangoon, and moo goo gai pan! ???????? Their chicken wings were incredible! It was a wait of 15 mins because they made them fresh! Worth the wait after I had them! The other thing I learned is if you call in, you will get them faster than walk in! Wanna write here to appreciate them!“
“Have been getting food here for over 20 years! It’s ALWAYS fresh and delicious! Appreciate the family that runs the business.I’m a fan of General Tso’s but have recently been getting their Moo Goo Gai Pan…YUM! Their Thai cuisine is delicious as well.“
“I am new to the area and I decided to come into the restaurant to take food back home to campus, and I am very glad I did, all of the food is very authentic and fresh and the staff are very kind and welcoming! This will definitely be my go-to spot from now on. Keep up the good work guys!!“
“I'm a fan of their combo meals. They fill them up to the brim and I can never finish in on sitting. They are tastey and everything is freshly made. Service is great! They gentleman behind the counter recognizes me everytime I come in and greets me by name. Makes me feel special. Over all it is an awesome place and the prices are in line with most places I've eaten so I don't feel like I'm paying too much.“
“Just moved to the area and tried this place out tonight. I got their vegetable Mei fun, which was good, but lacked some flavor. My fiancé got the lo mein, which is always good. We also got coconut chicken, which I had never had before. It was a bit too much with the coconut essence. The crab Rangoon was amazing, I loved them. We will definitely be returning! This shop has a vast menu and decent prices!“
“Our favorite Chinese Food. We love to try new items on the menu because everything we get is always delicious. Full authentic flavors with a variety of vegetables. It never feels heavy or greasy. Even after moving to another town we still drive in. Our favorites are their House Lo Mein, General Tso and their fried “
“Great food and lovely family! I got take out so I don't care that it is not a fancy place. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. I am a Moo Shu nut and theirs was delicious! My wife and daughter both enjoyed their Chicken and Broccoli and “
“One of the hidden gems of Etown, tucked in an unassuming space downtown. Their steamed dumplings are tasty and well-seasoned, the broccoli with garlic sauce is the best I've ever had, and the chicken teriyaki skewers are deliciously crispy, juicy and packed with flavor. Furthermore, the food is always hot and fresh, and I've never had an incorrect order. In other words, this is the only place in Etown worth getting Chinese takeout from!Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian options, especially the broccoli with garlic sauce.“
“I had this place for the first time last night and it was hands-down the best Chinese food in town! I got sesame chicken with white rice and my boyfriend for general Taos chicken with fried rice. The prices are perfect and it was only $20! Each meal was $8.99 and a good portion. I can’t wait to go back and try their crab rangoons!“
“Food was very good!! Lots of mixed reviews on here, however my husband and I enjoyed it. I got the orange chicken and Buddhist delight. Husband got shrimp chow mien and pot stickers. Everything was cooked well and good flavor. Orange chicken had pieces of orange in it which was nice. Rice was cooked well. Not over or under cooked. Vegetables perfectly steamed!! Which can be hard to find. Quick service about 20mins. Small restaurant part so mostly would be for take out.“
