“I stopped in to grab dinner while I was working. I took a seat at the bar and ordered the steamed clams with a soda chaser. The bartender Lauren was friendly, the clams were delicious and the conversation with the couple at the bar was pleasurable. The place had great atmosphere is deceptively large inside. I'm definitely stopping here again when I have the time.”

“Back on 2012 I would to go to John’s every Monday night for All you can eat pasta with my late husband and 4-6 other family members dept who was at our house or available. Going there wasn’t the same without him and they were so kind as to send a tray of pasta and a tray of meatballs at that terrible time but I went sporadically. Well today Nov13 2024 my new husbands and I were in the area and went to John’s. It was nice to be there and the food was sooooo good like it was back then and the service was as it always was Great! I was so glad we went. there were a lot of new faces. But I did ask for Michelle and heard she is there yet. Keep it up John’s. (Ezra and Anthony wouldn’t remember me but Adrianna would I hope to get there again soon!!”

Don’t let the photos fool you—this place is a gem. We tried the pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, pork dumplings, pork egg rolls, and crab Rangoon, and everything was genuinely delicious. You can tell it’s all made from scratch with quality ingredients, not the usual greasy or overly salty takeout.

The portion sizes are generous, the food was hot and fresh, and it’s an excellent value overall. The dumplings and egg rolls had great texture and flavor, and the sweet and sour chicken was perfectly balanced—not too sweet or too soggy.

It’s family-owned with friendly, efficient service, and they clearly care about what they’re doing. Definitely a solid choice for takeout, and we’ll be adding it to our regular rotation when we’re at the cabin. Highly recommend.”

“We had our stepdads 80th birthday here last night 7/12, there were 19 of us and everything was fantastic! The waitresses and the staff were very accommodating to us, allowing us to take over the dining room with our own entertainment even ! We brought our own cake & the staff brought it out to him and we sang HBD and they then cut the cake and served us ! The food was delicious and even though they were short staffed , they still were right there for anything we needed!! Thank you so very much!!”

“I come here often ! It is about over an hour for me but it is so good it is worth it. I always get an iced coffee and the chicken salad Sammy , sooooo good ! Then I order another coffee and grab a sweet treat or two to take home for the next day !”

“A lovely poconos getaway that is a unique and relaxing experience! We wanted to find something to get good rest and relaxation, the French Manor Inn did not disappoint! The breakfast and dinner were amazing! We did the romantic package as an add on which just added to the time away with welcome cheese charcuterie board and champagne, then chocolate covered strawberries at turn down. The suite that we got was spacious, maintained well, and had a gorgeous outside view. We also loved the sitting area with the fireplace made a cozy and relaxing area. The property is well kept and offers numerous things such as fireplace outside, games, lounge areas, indoor pool, and hiking trails. The staff were attentive, friendly, and extremely helpful with questions or any concerns. David was so welcoming, informative, and nice along with all the other staff! The staff created an atmosphere that was charming, stress-free, and comforting. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience! We look forward to returning again!”
