The broasted chicken was awesome, and my wife really liked the crabs. It's a casual place with a nice casual atmosphere. It can be loud. We spent about $60 for the two of us, including the tip. I really enjoyed this place. All the food we had was great, even the kid's meal grilled cheese was amazing. We loved the loaded hush puppies, and our dozen large crabs were very tasty and easy to crack/peel. The only minus I gave was that we didn't realize it was BYOB - so I took off one star for that and the ambience (was a bit hot inside, but I think you almost have to expect that for a crab shack of any type). Big Mikes Crab house is an incredible place to enjoy a nice meal with your family. The owners are great people. Had the privilege to really get to know Josh. He is the most down to earth human being I’ve ever met. So kind, caring and passionate about what he does. He works his tail off as does his wife and sister to make this all happen.
