We used to frequent Blue Koi and it was the best in town, but we got takeout today and were super disappointed, not only has the price gone up (no surprise there), but the portion and quality went down. Shrimp tempura was honestly one of the worst I’ve had and just tasted like stale oil. The other 5 rolls were underwhelming and with the price per roll- it was not worth it!!!
Blue Koi never disappoints! They have great food and I love the dining room. Always greeted with a smile and great service. Highly recommend for dine-in or carry-out!
My husband and I were craving sushi but we saw that Blue Koi didn't open until 11am. So we waited and then I walked in around 11:10. As I was looking through the to-go menu, the young man at the front desk told me that I couldn't order sushi because it wouldn't be ready for an hour.
I repeated back to him, "No sushi for an hour?" and he replied, "Yeah, they're setting it up now."
We were both disappointed because we've come to the restaurant a few times with great food...read full review
