First time going there the other evening. They mixed our sundae order up, and when I pointed it out to the counter girl, she gave me immediate attitude, saying that there is nothing she could do once the food passed through the window. I told her she could just take them both back, and refund our money, since it was their mistake, then she silently huffed off and remade mine, without a word of explanation. I asked to speak to their supervisor, who did come out, but apparently has an English comprehension issue, and offered no apology. We will NOT be returning!

I’ve been a loyal customer of York Street Treat for years, but my recent experience left me really disappointed. When I called to place an order, the woman on the phone was incredibly rude and lacked basic customer service skills. A friendly attitude goes a long way, especially for a small business that relies on regulars like me. The food has always been good, which is why I’ve kept coming back, but this interaction really put a damper on things. I hope the staff can work on their professionalism—customers shouldn’t feel unappreciated.

I love the ice cream and flurries but the milkshake I just got was terrible. It was runny, mostly milk and some strawberries. Wouldn’t recommend the shakes. Everything that I’ve had is really good.
