This place wasn't what we expected, but we stayed and we're glad we did. The breakfast was good and the price was right. The only thing that gave it 3 stars for atmosphere was of no fault of the owner. It was this guy and teenager being loud and cussing.

I met a friend of mine there for breakfast,I had eggs and potatoes w/coffee,he had coffee…unbeknownst to us,and the help never told us,that they charged me for EACH CUP OF COFFEE,after the first refill!!??Ive been going to diners for 51 years and only one other time has this happened!I talked to the owner and cashier;the owner said “coffee is expensive “and wasn’t willing to work with me…. ??I go there about 2-3 times a year;NEVER AGAIN FOR ME!!

I used to go here all the time back in the early 90's. I had not been here since 95. Oh my it's still best food prices and portions in the Burg! Definitely a locals spot and anyone who works in the downtown capital area. Stop in look at this $9 meatloaf with double mash. ???
