Food was incredible! Best arepas and yucca fritas (fries) I've had so far! Their tres leches cake was spot on too.
The staff were very accommodating and patient, and made sure you had a good meal.
If you're looking for a filling, delicious, authentic Venezuelan meal with a Latin-American feel, you can't go wrong with Arepa House 😋 they're conveniently located very close to the capital building and UPMC on top of that!

Arepa House offers a welcoming, no‑fuss vibe that works great for lunch, brunch, or a casual dinner. The food is incredible, with the best arepas and yucca fritas (fries), plus a tres leches cake that is spot on. The menu is full of flavorful, fresh options, from corn arepas to savory empanadas, Cachapa Carne y Queso, Arepa de Rompe Colchon (sea food), and the always reliable Tequeños. The staff are very accommodating, patient, super friendly, and make sure you have a good meal. The vibes in the restaurant are always good. Weekday midday is ideal for a quieter table, and early evenings bring a friendly, fun crowd. Arepa House is conveniently located very close to the capital building and UPMC. It is a fantastic place that does not disappoint, and it is a great spot to avoid the fast food chains. However, the hours are not always correct, and customers have been frustrated stopping by at 7 PM to find the restaurant closed despite no updated hours or a sign.
