Tamu Restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurants in Harrisburg. The atmosphere is good, and the decor is very calming, surrounded by pictures of Nepal. The employees are kind and welcoming. The food is always satisfying, with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked every time. The quality and taste really stand out. Complimentary items are a great touch, including complimentary pakoras and complimentary spinach pakoras. Menu highlights include naan which was eggless, rajasthani malai kofta (no onion no garlic) that came with rice, paneer tikka with extra vegetables, chili gobhi, crispy garlic nan, and chicken korma. The portions are huge, enough for lunch and supper. Jain/Swaminarayan friendly food is available. Parking is plentiful and free.
