“My husband and I stopped by yesterday with our young autistic son. We gave the staff a heads up that eating inside may or may not work depending on our son and how he was able to handle it. The people were so kind, understanding, and accommodating and did everything they could to try to make our visit possible. From giving us the choice of where we'd feel most comfortable to sit, to offering cartoons and crayons. They even made up a batch of fries before we came in so our son would have something to eat as soon as we sat down. Unfortunately we weren't able to eat inside but we did get our food to go and it was delicious. Being the parent of an autistic child can be challenging, and it makes all the difference in the world to feel like there are people who care. They absolutely made our day. Thank you so so much.“

“I knew I was in for somethin special when I walked up into their parkin' field and saw small rocks gravellin it up all fancy like. This upscale establishment had walls from floor to ceiling on all sides. It even had not one, but two doors to go through. And get this, they on the hinges! Wow. But that's nothing compared to what I discovered entering the final door... the floor... i thought they forgot to put da sawdust down and Id be walking on raw dirt, naw, naw, it was better than saw dust. You ever hear of fellers puttin down wood across an entire floor? That must have taken a lot of dedicated non drinkers a lot of time. It nearly brought a tear to my eye to know they cared enough for me to spend all that time for me. I went to look up to the Heavens and thank God, but I couldn't see a cloud in sight. You know that dang place had a roof on it? And not any normal roof, a roof without a hole in it? Well I forgot what happened next, but I woke up in a ditch, pulled out my phone and wrote this review. I'm not sure if it was real or some kind of dream, but if I can find my way back to the country, where all the people want to be nice to everyone(like everyone everyone should learn to be nice to each other) , I'd walk right back in. “Great place to stop in for a drink, to play a game of pool, or to watch the game. Friendly owner and bar tenders. Friendly patrons. It's bigger than it looks with 2 pool tables! Not a restaurant, but they often have food during games, holiday parties, and events. Overall, it's a great little spot to stop in and hang out.“

“Stopped at Oliver’s twice this week. Excellent service and food quality. The pretzel sticks tasted like they were fresh baked and the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were what you would expect and tasty. My wife got the Pittsburgh salad with chicken one day and salmon the other. I had a smash burger and fries. Great burger and fresh cut fries. Would have like to see a few more beers on draft, but the selection covered all the basics.“

“My family stopped by on Saturday afternoon ordered a Pgh pizza and loaded fries. The Pizza was out of this world. The fries were fresh cut and delicious. Our server was Jodie and she was so friendly and efficient we never had to ask a refill on drinks. Most pleasant trip there ever.“

The young lady bartender happened to be the same one from like 6 months ago.

She recommended the Peach Margarita and it was delicious. Drank two and had a decent buzz going.

I waited for my food and when it came, it was flawless. I mean, for bar food.....its bar food but that shit was actually phenomenal.

All in all.....this young lady bartender makes me feel so welcome and not a bother at all..I would go back just because whoever that girl is on this 9/30/24 evening around makes me feel welcome and like she's happy I'm there.

Their wings are fantastic.

Edit: to put it in perspective, I first went to Carl's (nothing against Carl's).....i ordered a Guiness Draft and she must've heard Yeungling(spelling), so she gave me a glass of Yeungling. I'm too nice to say she messed up, I started to think maybe I did say Yeungling BUT HATE IT Why whould I say it? I don't even drink.

So my pathetic self sat there and tried to drink it. I took 3 or 4 sips, left a 2 or 3 dollar tip and walked out with nowhere else to go. Then I remembered how nice the bartender was at RoseCliff.....and could you believe, IT WAS HER AGAIN.

I've been married 18 years and I'm sure I'm much older than her so it's nothing weird like that but she is naturally kind and doesn't make me feel dumb because I'm not an alcoholic that knows about all the alcohol.

Whoever she is......pay her. Keep her. I don't know her name but I'm the guy that came in alone and got 2 peach margaritas, French dip and 6 wings to go. I added the "well done" to the wings late after I already ordered and them wings WERE PERRRRRRRRRRRRRFECTLY overcooked. No joke. Gotta bring my daughter next time (adult daughter)“
