“I visited acacia for the first time and really loved their cocktails. I was afraid that without reservations, the wait would be too long. But even on a Saturday evening in Southside, we easily got a table at 8:30pm. I got The Architect which was spicy and refreshing. The service is amazing and they will make any drink off the menu as well. I asked for a Mai Tai and got the best one I've ever had. Definitely recommend this bar to go to with friends. The ambience is also easy-going and chill for catching up with friends or relaxing after a long day.“
“Was very disappointed in the meat lover's Flatbread. It tasted like tomato paste for the sauce and the meat has no flavor. It was plain. I suggest to anyone don't get it. My fiancée had thier Italian hoagie which he felt bad and gave me half of his sandwich to eat. The bartender did ask if I liked it. I did let him know about the pizza not being too good. He just looked and didn't say anything and walked away. I'll still come here. But that flat bread has to go. I don't even see how that one is on the menu! Everything else so far I tasted from there is good.“

“Fun little southside bar. I usually go for trivia on Wednesdays and it's always a great time. Only complaint is it's a very small bar and doesn't have a lot of seating.All of the food I've tried has been good also. I highly recommend trying the wings.“
“So, I wish I could give the Loft, specifically, seven or eight stars. Great environment, great bartenders (Paul is just the nicest guy in the world, honestly). A great karaoke night every Monday. And I actually came here to say this: someone stole a six pack of beer I had bought, and ERIN, the gm, just insisted on replacing it, even though it had nothing to do with their establishment. I thought that was incredibly cool, and I think this place, mgmt and bartenders, will take care of you no matter what.“

“Right on walnut street! I was out with a friend and he suggested this place, I was there like 25+ years ago when it had another owner. So we went in, got some beers, and ordered. “My coworker and I decided that a night on the town was much needed but wanted a different scene than the norm. Jekyll and Hyde was exactly what the doctor ordered! I loved the decor and the drinks were fantastic and quite affordable (I had spooky juice and my coworker had their signature, the Jack-O-Lantern). No beers on draft and that's a little sad but the delicious food totally makes up for it. The bartenders/waitstaff are always friendly, attentive and funny. The food also arrived in less than 10 minutes which surprised me given how busy they were. It was good too. No complaints at all. Nice ambiance. You can sit inside at the bar or at tables. They had a band about to start playing. I sat outside. They have a huge deck. Some is closed in with clear roll-down windows so you can see, but stay warm. Naturally in summer they can be rolled up. All in all, a great meal with wonderful, fast, attentive service. The only thing that needs a little tlc is the parking lot. There's some huge potholes. But we're coming out of winter so it's understandable.“

“Tonight was my first time going to this place for a meal. Every time I drive by there, I'm usually running errands on my days off off which are Saturday and Sunday and they're always busy. Well I made up my mind to go there for dinner tonight after work and I now know why they're always busy! From start to finish, everything was excellent. The service, the food presentation, the quality of the food preparation, the cleanliness of the establishment and the level of exceptional, true TEAMWORK that I witnessed from staff was just an amazing and very pleasant dining experience. I've never been there before, so I'm not positive, but I believe that the gentleman I saw busing tables and seating new customers was the owner? I love seeing people who love doing what they do in their work because they do it so much from the heart and it makes all the difference in the customer service experience for anyone who walks through that door. They have a motto there. It's something like "no bad seat in the house". And that's so true because no matter where you sit you are just as important to the folks serving you as any other person who walks through that door. I will most definitely be a repeat customer. “We stumbled upon this place during a recent trip to Pittsburgh to celebrate our friends birthday this weekend and we were extremely impressed with the great service from the bartender Gail. She was fast, friendly, and by the time we left we felt like part of the family. Even met and talked to the owner Don. He was a gracious and kind gentleman. We even had dinner reservations at a restaurant downtown, but we cancelled those just so we could stay longer at Don's Bar. The food was amazing and the prices are VERY reasonable. And to top it off, my friend misplaced her purse, but didn't realize it until the next morning which was a Sunday (they are closed) and I reached out to them at Don's to see if she had left her purse there and they personally stopped what they were doing on their day off and went into the bar to look for the purse. I mean in today's world most people would've said we'll look the next time we are open, but not at Don's Bar. They really take care of you there. I want to make this birthday trip and annual thing and we will definitely be stopping by Don's Bar again. FANTASTIC PLACE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

There is usually street parking right out front. But you have to feed quarters to the meter and the max amount of time to park is 2 hours.“
