“I love The Dog Penn for so many reasons. It's a safe dog park (vax requirements and scamp counselors), the owners are community minded (work with local businesses and rescues), and the atmosphere is incredible. Last night, I got a flat tire when I was leaving The Dog Penn. The owners did not hesitate to come outside and help me (well😅 being honest, do it for me) change my tire. They taught me a few things about my car and made sure I was safe to get on the road. Beyond the many things I love about the venue itself, I love the ownership and the way they love and take care of their community. If you haven't had a chance to check this place out yet, you absolutely have to!“

“This is a nice venue with top quality music acts, very friendly employee's and very clean. There is a small parking lot and street parking. Very minimal noise level. They don't serve food but everyone goes to a place two doors down and brings it back. I highly recommend Moondogs!“

I love that you can reserve seating. I love that it's rows of chairs instead of tables. It was a little hot for me, but I run hot. The drinks were reasonable and delivered to our seats with the use of a QR code! The atmosphere is vintage awesome. I would totally be a member if I lived closer.
Parking is on the difficult side, but we were able to find a decent spot.“

I went recently to see Sacred Monsters who were in town from Philly. It was the lead singer, KP’s birthday and we wanted to do something special for her. Long story short, Toy is amazing. Not only did she help with the surprise but she… on her own… ordered cupcakes for KP since I couldn’t find a cake that met her dietary restrictions. She was so helpful and enthusiastic about helping. “I'd heard about the wings and just had to try them. In my opinion, Buffalo Wings are truly the only thing that is special about food in Pittsburgh. I was not disappointed. They're the best I've had, and they come served in a basket with sauce of the perfect consistency pooled at the bottom. The woman behind the bar somehow takes care of everyone without any help. “Really enjoyed the atmosphere here! ✨ It was my first time stopping by, and the overall vibe was great — relaxed, friendly, and full of good energy. The people around were easygoing, which made the place feel welcoming right away 😊.

One of the best parts was the drinks. They were very affordable 🍹 and the pours were definitely generous, which is always a nice surprise. The cocktails were made well and tasted great, so they definitely did not disappoint.

I also heard from a few people that their chicken is really good, so that’s something I’m planning to try the next time I visit 🍗. If it’s as good as the drinks, I’m sure it’ll be worth it!

Overall, it was a fun first experience with good vibes, good people, and solid drinks. I’d definitely come back again to hang out and explore more of the menu.“

“The Goldmark has long been one of our favorite bars in Pittsburgh with the best DJs, and it turns out it’s also a fantastic place to host a private party! We recently hosted a surprise 30th birthday party there, and absolutely everyone had a great time. The staff is incredible; Nicole and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. They were so accommodating with our surprise setup, letting us arrive early to get ready. Plus, being able to leave our extra food and supplies there overnight meant we could just enjoy the rest of our night without worrying about cleanup. Highly recommend for a fun night out or a private event!“

JJ’s cocktail (Loretta) was new-age whiskey with lavender, ginger, and egg whites…enjoyed!
Matt’s was a tiki cocktail (3 dots & a dash) that I was vaguely familiar with, and tasted great! Matt had a lot of beer experience that I was able to ask about. Great spot! More people need to go and enjoy the offerings!

“My wife's friend had a little party there and we had a nice time and the fried chicken was on point so I definitely want to thank the cook. The drinks were pretty good too but if there was one thing they could improve on it is making Margaritas which weren't too good but I will still give 5 stars ?“
