The bartenders are friendly and down to earth, one of the select few places that I continuously visit when I have time. Karaoke night Wednesday which has a real nice crowd and on Fridays and Saturdays they have a DJ, and the best part is, the drink prices are very good it's a family-owned business so they try to make sure everything goes well“

“This is a nice venue with top quality music acts, very friendly employee's and very clean. There is a small parking lot and street parking. Very minimal noise level. They don't serve food but everyone goes to a place two doors down and brings it back. I highly recommend Moondogs!“

They also serve awesome drinks like mudslides, banana monkey, or dirty monkey, and some good fruity drinks, do not hesitate to name your favorite, or don't be afraid to try something new. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Servers are always great and pleasant from my experiences as well! Street parking only but it's free. It also may look like a "hole in the wall" before going inside but it's far from that. It's recently renovated and has a modern but classic bar feel and look. The soup du jour, a spiced black bean soup, was out of this world. The fried pickles were the best fried pickle wedges I've ever had, with some terrific batter. The wings were good. The sauces were delicious, especially the spice golden BBQ sauce we had (golden goldenboy, I think). The only thing was they weren't crispy.

“Right on walnut street! I was out with a friend and he suggested this place, I was there like 25+ years ago when it had another owner. So we went in, got some beers, and ordered. Beers came quick and cold! My friend ordered a hot turkey with gravy and fries, I ordered a hot ham and cheese. Side of bacon covered cheese fries....excellent! “If you like hood bars this is the place to go. They have pool tables and food but I never ate there but I heard the food is BOMB! You also have to try those jello shots that Auntie makes which are very strong. “Cash only joint! Smallish neighborhood gem. Looks unassuming from the outside but it's just perfect for the locals. No beers on draft and that's a little sad but the delicious food totally makes up for it. The bartenders/waitstaff are always friendly, attentive and funny. Since we moved to Mount Washington, we're pretty much slowly becoming regulars so there go our plans to lose weight this year ?“

“Dive bar vibe - Dark & Vintage. They're hot cheese balls were pretty good. They were not the best cheese curds that I have ever had, but they were decent. If you like your cheese curds extra cheesy, these are for you. We also got 2 burgers were which were extremely large, & cooked well done which wasn't very good. The fries were subpar and the chips were just plain generic ruffle chips -not made in house or anything. I would have loved another option to not have a side. This place was not super expensive which was cool but probably wouldn't come here again.“

“Absolutely enjoyed this bar! Their drinks were good and the night my friend and I went they plaued great music. Since it was snowy, there wasnt a large crowd, but we had fun regardless.

The bartender was friendly and gave us drink suggestions and made good talk. We watched sports on tv, talked, and overall had a good time. Bathrooms were clean, dancefloor is fun.

“A little bit of a belated review, but my husband and I went in November 2023 for our wedding anniversary. Our table had the cutest happy anniversary sign, the waiter we had was beyond sweet. The food was absolutely delicious and the speak easy was awesome. I love everything vintage and it was perfect. We found our new anniversary spot.“

“We dined here in October while on a bike trip on the GAP. It's right beside the trail. We stayed at the Little Boston Inn across the street so this made for a super convenient combination. We liked the late hours, the staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the food, particularly the cabbage rolls. It's a comfortable old-school bar, which is great with me. My only suggestion, being a beer lover, is add some taps (all beer was cans/bottles) with a few local microbrews.“

“Randy was our first class bartender and was knowledgeable polite &friendly PGH tortas was the food truck for the new fangs beer release and they provided a five star taco experience - duck carnitas, rabbit tinga, gator po boy, nopales and beef tongue. All juicy choices featuring the perfect combo of acid, fat& sweet heat.
The beers featured the marzen - best Oktoberfest of the year. We went home with some coffee porter &the scent of the head alone was transformative.

Coming in as a first timer there, I expected “first timer treatment” (you know how it can be when you’re not an established “regular”) but instead was greeted with enthusiasm, kindness and an eagerness to deliver fantastic service! The venue is clean and beautiful from the huge big screen TVs, to the high-tech bar with built in wireless chargers all the way to the cleanliness and overall appearance of the bathroom. Everything is clean and new, and there is a ton of space and a lot of bar seating! “Ordered the peach bourbon and the butternut squash risotto with shrimp! My drink was speedily served and perfectly balanced with flavor. My risotto had on-point texture, with huge pieces of shrimp and delicious, thinly fried pieces of sweet potato on top for crunch! I devoured it all!

Vegetarian options: The risotto does not automatically come with meat! You can have it without, and there are several accommodations on the menu.
