Anyways I wound up going back to this place later in the week and all I have to say is WOW.! “I love The Dog Penn for so many reasons. It's a safe dog park (vax requirements and scamp counselors), the owners are community minded (work with local businesses and rescues), and the atmosphere is incredible. Last night, I got a flat tire when I was leaving The Dog Penn. The owners did not hesitate to come outside and help me (well😅 being honest, do it for me) change my tire. They taught me a few things about my car and made sure I was safe to get on the road. Beyond the many things I love about the venue itself, I love the ownership and the way they love and take care of their community. If you haven't had a chance to check this place out yet, you absolutely have to!“

“Came from 2 hours away for a comedy show.
I love that you can reserve seating. I love that it's rows of chairs instead of tables. It was a little hot for me, but I run hot. The drinks were reasonable and delivered to our seats with the use of a QR code! The atmosphere is vintage awesome. I would totally be a member if I lived closer.
Parking is on the difficult side, but we were able to find a decent spot.“

“I'd heard about the wings and just had to try them. In my opinion, Buffalo Wings are truly the only thing that is special about food in Pittsburgh. I was not disappointed. They're the best I've had, and they come served in a basket with sauce of the perfect consistency pooled at the bottom. The woman behind the bar somehow takes care of everyone without any help. You could tell that she truly cared about your experience.“

And the drinks are also just as pretty and delicious, with a bunch of of different flavors and combos, they also can craft something for you, but the specials are so varied that you can def find something you like!

I also heard from a few people that their chicken is really good, so that’s something I’m planning to try the next time I visit 🍗. If it’s as good as the drinks, I’m sure it’ll be worth it!

“Four points has quickly moved into our favorite brewery to visit in the city. We haven’t had a beer we don’t like and the bartenders have been incredible each time, so kind! Also have appreciated that they’ve been family friendly. Being newly postpartum, you hope to find spaces you used to enjoy that still work for your family - and they have been nothing short of amazing in making us feel we belong. Got a bacon burger and its absolutely the best in the city, incredible price for everything you get and absolutely massive portion. “We won a gift certificate from my favorite non-profit, Hilltop Horizons.org I didn't know I liked Cider until we stopped at the Brewery at Soergels in Wexford. We tasted several samples before we ordered a growler that was perfect for 2 of us. We sat inside as it was a bit windy that day. There is great outside seating as well. There were board games available to play and great views of the farm. We tried the sorbet on the way out. It was delicious!! We also picked up a 6 pack to enjoy later. This would be a great place for family fun or just for 2. I love to find local small businesses that support each other and the community! We will definitely be back.“

Interesting mix of Pitt upperclassmen and regular people from the area. Every time I happen to be in Oakland now, I make a point of dropping in for a drink (or five).
