“My wife and I drove by and from the outside it looked like a closed down business With the windows boarded up. My wife even commented, she thought it was a strip club. But we decided to go and had a fantastic time. My wife got the salmon. She swears it’s the best fish she’s ever had. I got the steak and let me tell you…. It is the best steak in town. Don’t let the outside deceive you, This is easily my favorite place to take my wife out for a date. It’s reasonably priced, The bathrooms are clean and the Staff dresses very modestly. It feels very upper class. 5 stars.“

“I love The Dog Penn for so many reasons. It's a safe dog park (vax requirements and scamp counselors), the owners are community minded (work with local businesses and rescues), and the atmosphere is incredible. Last night, I got a flat tire when I was leaving The Dog Penn. The owners did not hesitate to come outside and help me (well😅 being honest, do it for me) change my tire. They taught me a few things about my car and made sure I was safe to get on the road. Beyond the many things I love about the venue itself, I love the ownership and the way they love and take care of their community. If you haven't had a chance to check this place out yet, you absolutely have to!“

“Really enjoyed the atmosphere here! ✨ It was my first time stopping by, and the overall vibe was great — relaxed, friendly, and full of good energy. The people around were easygoing, which made the place feel welcoming right away 😊.

One of the best parts was the drinks. They were very affordable 🍹 and the pours were definitely generous, which is always a nice surprise. The cocktails were made well and tasted great, so they definitely did not disappoint.

I also heard from a few people that their chicken is really good, so that’s something I’m planning to try the next time I visit 🍗. If it’s as good as the drinks, I’m sure it’ll be worth it!

“My friend Larry, who is a bartender at a Shadyside bar, took me here once when we were in Oakland. LOVED IT! Great atmosphere, great drinks and Gene is wonderful. Interesting mix of Pitt upperclassmen and regular people from the area. Every time I happen to be in Oakland now, I make a point of dropping in for a drink (or five). “Four points has quickly moved into our favorite brewery to visit in the city. We haven’t had a beer we don’t like and the bartenders have been incredible each time, so kind! Also have appreciated that they’ve been family friendly. It's definitely my favorite burger in Pittsburgh. It is a 9.5/10 or better nearly every time. The grainy mustard and mayo is genius. The fries are also great. Service is typically solid even when they're busy.“

Only because of it's size,and no food..however a Pizza parlor opened next door with a wide variety of treats...good enough to feed those Boilermakers..from the R BAR...“

I dig the hotel lobby venue, just wish it was a bit bigger. I can see it getting quite cramped at busy times. If that's my only gripe, then I don't really have anything to gripe about.
