“Whoever gave bad reviews should probably try it again. We just had lunch. We eat out a lot and this food is amazingly fresh. It came out very fast. Server was amazing. Place is clean. Most importantly the food again phenomenal!!! Soooooo fresh. Honestly could be the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Highly recommend“
“Hands down some of the best service and food I have had in a very long time. The impossible burgers that my dad and I had were cooked to perfection! My mom lived her crab cakes. “This was my first time here. I highly recommend. The environment was friendly and full of different groups of people having a blast. Some were watching the game on the big TV's, some were playing the available board games. The music was poppin'!!! People of all ages were there which I thought was cool. “I am so glad I found this place! It’s a neat little bar with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and great music. As soon as I walked in, the owner greeted me and took the time to help me pick out a cigar. He made suggestions for me based on what I normally smoke and the cigar I chose was excellent. Most folks in there seemed to be regulars and we all had great conversation. In my experience, some cigar bars can be a bit pretentious or intimidating but this place is quite the opposite - it’s got a Cheers bar feel and everyone is down to earth. It’s not very often you sit down and chat with the owner of an establishment. Whether you’re a regular cigar smoker or a newbie, this bar is the place to be. The prices are phenomenal as well. Definitely will be back!“

“We had a great dinner! The atmosphere was nice, food and drinks were delicious, plus the staff was so friendly and helpful. Not only our server but the whole staff. The chef came out at the end of the night to introduce himself and ask how our meals were. He even put us deep with the daily specials. “I hosted a party in the upstairs room over the weekend and it was fantastic. The food was great exactly what we asked for and everyone went above and beyond. Our bartender Chelsi was awesome. “I had their steak burger. It was off the chain and with their beer cheese and the pool table upstairs. It was nice and clean. Bathrooms were nice and clean. The server was very nice. She was able to explain everything to me about my food and other beverages and happy hour prices.“
“I had a great experience. I ordered the club sandwich and fresh cut fries. My waitress was super friendly and efficient. Had my drink to me quickly. The food also arrived in less than 10 minutes which surprised me given how busy they were. It was good too. No complaints at all. Nice ambiance. You can sit inside at the bar or at tables. They had a band about to start playing. I sat outside. They have a huge deck. Some is closed in with clear roll-down windows so you can see, but stay warm. Naturally in summer they can be rolled up. All in all, a great meal with wonderful, fast, attentive service. The only thing that needs a little tlc is the parking lot. There's some huge potholes. But we're coming out of winter so it's understandable.“
“We stumbled upon this place during a recent trip to Pittsburgh to celebrate our friends birthday this weekend and we were extremely impressed with the great service from the bartender Gail. She was fast, friendly, and by the time we left we felt like part of the family. Even met and talked to the owner Don. He was a gracious and kind gentleman. We even had dinner reservations at a restaurant downtown, but we cancelled those just so we could stay longer at Don's Bar. The food was amazing and the prices are VERY reasonable. And to top it off, my friend misplaced her purse, but didn't realize it until the next morning which was a Sunday (they are closed) and I reached out to them at Don's to see if she had left her purse there and they personally stopped what they were doing on their day off and went into the bar to look for the purse. I mean in today's world most people would've said we'll look the next time we are open, but not at Don's Bar. They really take care of you there. I want to make this birthday trip and annual thing and we will definitely be stopping by Don's Bar again. FANTASTIC PLACE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“
“Shot & A Beer type place (read: Dive Bar). Wednesdays & Thursdays are wing nights and the Kahuna is AWESOME. Fresh-cut fries and other typical bar food fare. Jukebox is loud & so are the bartenders, reasonably priced, 4 TVs, pool table, darts and some other amusements. Only nit I could pick would be not being able to use a credit card (but there is an ATM w/$2 charge). Lots of fun & I'm there often!“
“Came in for dinner on Sunday and the place was pretty busy. There was a Pens game on and several tvs were showing the game and the surround sound was playing the game, as well. The staff were super friendly and quick to take our order. Two women were both bartending and serving the tables, but we never had dirty dishes or empty glasses for long. The pepperoni rolls were our favorite. We also had a 16" pizza with extra cheese and half sausage & bacon. The pizza was ok! I'd say 7.5/10. The sauce had great flavor. My brother had the special chicken sandwich, parmesan style. He said the flavors were great, but he wasn't a huge fan of the bread. It wasn't toasted and after a few bites, it was totally soggy. There are two 1-person bathrooms and they were both clean, smelled like strawberries (lol), and were stocked with soap and paper towels.“

Wednesday is 1.50 TACOS and .75 slices of square pizza can't beat that.Parking: They have a small lot that I believe they share with other businesses because it's always full. There is usually street parking right out front. But you have to feed quarters to the meter and the max amount of time to park is 2 hours.“
“I've been coming here once or twice a week for almost a year now. It's my new go to place. The evening bartenders (Chris and Jess) are great, I've never had bad service with them. The food and drinks are extremely reasonably priced, especially in today's world. Oh, and they now have Wing Nights on Wednesdays! I cannot recommend them enough!“
