“Awesome hidden gem in Bridgeville. Ordered the Filipino Lumpia egg rolls and the Laurel sauced chicken wings. Lumpia was excellent and fresh tasting. "Laurel" is buffalo with old bay seasoning. Perfectly cooked and juicy. Cool atmosphere with small bar pool table. Great time!“
“Doordash botched an order and the new owner took full responsibility and made it right for us without needing any contact from us or the app. Which lbr usually you only find out your order is wrong AFTER you've received it and have to deal with CS. Correcting the platforms mistake and taking the time to get our entire order to us alone deserves thousands of stars, but I'll have to settle with a measly five. We already have visited quite a few times, but are all the more happy to keep doing so knowing there's awesome folks like this working there.“
“This was my first time here. I highly recommend. The environment was friendly and full of different groups of people having a blast. Some were watching the game on the big TV's, some were playing the available board games. The music was poppin'!!! People of all ages were there which I thought was cool. Everyone was having a blast and I will be back. Staff was friendly and helpful!“
“I photographed Jen & Josh's wedding here and it was a fantastic experience. The location is second to none in Pittsburgh with its amazing views of the city, and the food and service are outstanding. It is a great location for photos as well. I highly recommend it!“
“My work honored me recently with a retirement party, along with our Pittsburgh staff, at the Altius restaurant. My family has enjoyed dinner there before, and as always, everyone was quite impressed with the atmosphere, attentive staff, and fantastic food. Altius is a top-tier restaurant in Pittsburgh, and you will not be disappointed.“
“I visited acacia for the first time and really loved their cocktails. I was afraid that without reservations, the wait would be too long. But even on a Saturday evening in Southside, we easily got a table at 8:30pm. I got The Architect which was spicy and refreshing. The service is amazing and they will make any drink off the menu as well. I asked for a Mai Tai and got the best one I've ever had. Definitely recommend this bar to go to with friends. The ambience is also easy-going and chill for catching up with friends or relaxing after a long day.“
“Very personable, welcoming. Coffee shop establishment with homemade delicious almond Danish, date cookies that go with the specialty coffee made with date paste- to die for. Brothers who operate the place ate very kindKid-friendliness: Open environment, caters more to coffee/tea drinkers. Is pet friendly, I observed doggie treats and water bowlWheelchair accessibility: Doorways are wide enough for a wheelchair“
“Kicking myself for not driving up the hill sooner to this incredible Pittsburgh gem! The food: outstanding and fresh. The drinks: Delicious. The glassware: so fun. The owner and staff: incredible people. We visited on the last night of the season before the owner makes the trek home for some well-deserved time off for the holidays. (They'll be back in Feb). We had lovely conversations with the staff and other bar patrons. It's a lovely cozy space and the perfect environment for talking to strangers. There are some beautiful photos on the wall used as conversation starters from the owners travels. I tried the pickle martini and some of the house-made wines, all were so tasty. The food blew me out of the water. The Iberian plate was a perfectly curated mix of the most delicious meats, cheeses, olives, kimchi, etc. We got lucky that day as the owner had prepared her famous lamb. She slices it thin and serves it with a generous portion of pita bread and house made dips including tatziki and red pepper hummus. I'm dreaming of eating and drinking here again and can't wait to become a regular.“
“I recently visited Four Points Brewing and was thoroughly impressed! This hidden gem in Pittsburgh is a haven for craft beer lovers. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience delightful. They have an impressive selection of beers, with each offering its own unique and rich flavors that cater to both aficionados and those new to the craft beer scene. The brewery’s space is both cozy and trendy, perfect for a casual hangout with friends or a relaxing solo visit. What stood out to me was their commitment to quality and the passion for brewing that was evident in each pint. Four Points doesn’t just serve beer; they curate an experience that celebrates the craft. The location at 919 Western Avenue is convenient, and their digital presence, reflected in their sleek website, makes it easy to stay updated on their latest creations and events. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Four Points Brewing for a pint of their finest.“
“Such a warm and inviting, home style restaurant in the heart of Bellevue on Lincoln Ave. Upstairs is the bar / restaurant which has a delicious menu! Around back they have a speakeasy- typically live jazz music- with a cover but such cool vibes and great music!! Street parking or paid parking lots available- make sure to have your quarters!“
“Fun little southside bar. I usually go for trivia on Wednesdays and it's always a great time. Only complaint is it's a very small bar and doesn't have a lot of seating. All of the food I've tried has been good also. I highly recommend trying the wings.“
“I am so glad I found this place! It’s a neat little bar with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and great music. As soon as I walked in, the owner greeted me and took the time to help me pick out a cigar. He made suggestions for me based on what I normally smoke and the cigar I chose was excellent. Most folks in there seemed to be regulars and we all had great conversation. In my experience, some cigar bars can be a bit pretentious or intimidating but this place is quite the opposite - it’s got a Cheers bar feel and everyone is down to earth. It’s not very often you sit down and chat with the owner of an establishment. Whether you’re a regular cigar smoker or a newbie, this bar is the place to be. The prices are phenomenal as well. Definitely will be back!“
“We ate here on a Saturday evening, with a reservation for two at 7.30pm. When we arrived the restaurant was quite full and we had to wait a little while before being seated. At that point, the service was very strong. We tried several dishes, including the salad, miso soup, sashimi plate, nigiri plate, and some hand rolls (mushroom, eel, scallop). We tried the tiramisu, chocolate pudding, and crème caramel for dessert. All in all, the food was tasty, the ambiance was relaxing and pleasant, and service was good. We had a very nice evening.“
“It was cool to see this place transform from Howard's Pub to Harold's Haunt. The small little changes are great and made the space feel very inclusive. They have a small beer selection with some good choices. There are also rotating cocktail and mocktail menus. There's an outdoor patio in the back that's nice. The food menu is on the smaller side but had some nice choices; the five dollar grill cheese got the job done when we needed to refuel. Good spot to stop at before or after a show at Mr.Smalls.“
“Friendly bar staffFun drinksGood foodFun vibeGot the pierogi, which comes deep fried with the most incredible onion jam. The pierogi tasted like Mrs T's from the frozen section but that jam did laps around the restaurant. It was incredible. My friend got the pink drink which tasted like pink and white animal cookies.A fun place to stop on a stumble down Carson.“
“The Food and Drinks are Spectacular! The Service is Amazing and attentive!I recommend the Taquitos as a Appetizer!WOW! So Amazing! I can't wait to go back and try some more items.Fish Tacos definitely lived up to the Hype I heard! So Good!!!Highly Recommended!Parking is not an issue a Parking Garage is located just a few steps from the Restaurant. Also it's free Parking under an Hour in the Garage so it's not that bad.Well worth it!“
“What a gem! Totally in love with this cozy family-run restaurant where every food was exceptionally tasted. The in-house desserts are out of this world experience. Fantastic service, friendly atmosphere, clean. Ask for Chief recommendations! Loved ethnic design and famous Hungarian music. Will be back!Parking: 4 parking spots next to building and plenty across stress.“
“The Rubin is great that's what I always get my family love all the food they make there own chips what I really loveKid-friendliness: Very they have a entrance in the back that is separate from the bar.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have a ramp to the dining areaDietary restrictions: You let them know and they will take care of it“
“Two words. Wings and watermelon long Island. OK that was more than two words but you get my point..I have never had wings and drinks so darn good. The food is good, the drinks are strong, the music will have you singing and dancing! Great establishment!!!“
“After being invited many times, I finally got out with some friends to try the Elks Pittsburgh famous Friday lenten fish fry. And overall, it definitely lived up to the hype. For $17, you get a huge fish sandwich and two generous sides. I went with Mac and Cheese and fries, and it was definitely a comfort food experience. The bar has very fair prices, and the staff run what is inherently a chaotic situation extremely well. Just get their early, or be ready to wait in line. Definitely worth a trip.“
“Wednesday night at Hog Head's Bar for trivia was a blast! We spotted it on Facebook and thought we'd give it a shot. It was so much fun that my group and I have officially declared it a weekly tradition. The categories kept us on our toes, and the music was spot-on. Who knew Wednesdays could be this entertaining? Hog Head's will be our midweek haven, giving us a reason to look forward to hump day! Can't wait to get friends from work to come and join! Kudos to them for making trivia nights the highlight of our week!“
“Support your local brewer and get down to Insurrection Brewing in Heidelberg - right next to the police station ?. It's not a particularly large venue, nor a warm and cozy place, but they're definitely churning out some decent brews here. The barrel aged stout and west coast IPA were really very good. They've got a 3.91 (of 5) average rating on Untappd, and that's pretty good ?“
“The food was very flavorful and unexpected in a good way. Tasted even better than descriptions on the menu. Cocktails were really yummy too. Our server Heather was attentive and helpful. Really enjoyed the entire experience from beginning to end!“
“Arsenal has some of my favorite ciders! They have a wide range of flavors from very dry to sweet. I personally love the ginger cider. They also serve a variety of tasty sandwiches. The pastrami is delicious. There’s also the option to sit outside on their roof deck during the warmer months. Cheers!“
“We had a wonderful dinner. The food was prepared perfectly by Executive Chef Nick Senske and his team. The cauliflower and truffle dip was sooo delicious as was the carrott appetizer. We shared three pasta dishes, all were delicious. The Short rib casserchia was very tasty! We will be back.“
“Stopped by for some beers & basic bar grubs during a weekday dinner time. Good beer choices. Their smash burger was great. Fries were a bit saltier than my taste but that's me nitpicking. Friendly barkeep, chill atmosphere during their slow hours.“
“This place is really like night and day compared to how it was previously! It looks 10 times better. The pool table is an absolute plus. Everything looks upgraded. The foods delicious. The drinks are fun and the vibes are great. I keep telling everyone to go check it out because I was in complete shock.“
“Some of the best wings with adventurous flavor choices with the classic options. It's awesome.Kid-friendliness: It is a bar. Please remember this is a bar. But they do offer take out. And you can call, order and pick up. The burgers are dope too.“
“Came for a bite to eat and wasn't disappointed at all. Our Apps of brisket nachos & jerk chicken lettuce wraps were delicious. It was wing nite so we tried soy Thai, Nashville Hot, & Hot Garlic Parm. Yummy yummy. Finished off with a homemade dessert. ??? We'll definitely be back “
“Servers are very attentive and take very good care of you! The food was pub food, just okay. The boneless wings needed to be saucier. But we had such a fabulous time with karaoke! Saturday night karaoke was an absolute blast! Best karaoke we’ve been to! We will visit again and be back for sure ?“
“My coworker and I decided that a night on the town was much needed but wanted a different scene than the norm. Jekyll and Hyde was exactly what the doctor ordered! I loved the decor and the drinks were fantastic and quite affordable (I had spooky juice and my coworker had their signature, the Jack-O-Lantern). I also enjoyed the live karaoke and will be back soon for some good ole spooky fun!“
“Best neighborhood bar you can find.Locals are welcoming and bartenders are great. The view is great and the owners are kind - everyone looks after each other and unless there's a random j**** you'll be treated well.tldr/ Great prices, great view, great neighborhood.“
“Decided to try a new place to eat at, and the Willow Station restaurant didn't disappoint. Ordered the fish sandwich and it was delicious. Also had the Irish cheesecake and it was delectable. I would definitely recommend coming here to dine with family or friends, because the restaurant was immaculate, has a great welcoming atmosphere and the staff are very friendly.“
“Absolutely loved this place! There was quite a line up on a Friday night but we were seated quickly and the host was lovely. It had a wonderful atmosphere and a small but enticing menu. Loved the chalk board display for all of their craft beers. We ended up trying a wood-fired pizza and it was some of the best we've had. Good location and absolutely worth trying. Highly recommend trying the Calabrian pizza.“
“Seems like a really great bar. I've only been here once, we stopped after a show at Mr Smalls theater. Many of the people from the concert ended up here, so the music was somewhat of a continuation. Looks like they have a nice outdoor setup for the more pleasant weather. Follow for more...“
“Great neighborhood place to have a drink and quick bite, hear a live band on the weekends or shoot a game of pole during the week. Outdoor deck area for smoking you can bring your drink on the deck just don't walk off the deck with your alcohol. Plenty of parking available and usually a decent crowd.“
“Always a laid back atmosphere, staff that is great, and fare that is decently priced and large portions. One of our favorite places to get together for Mom n mini time. I'm writing this for both McGrogan/Big Fellas as we use both services when there. There are chance games, live bands, karaoke, lunch specials, dart board and juke box available. Bathrooms always clean, and large drink selection.“
“Lefty's is a great place to grab an ice cold beer when you need a break from the crowded streets of the Strip District. The beer I ordered was seriously the closest beer I have ever been served at a bar. The bartender was welcoming and the price was reasonable. Indoor seating is available as well as a few outdoor seats in case you want to continue people watching during your beer break.“
“This bar/restaurant is fantastic! I would give it 15 stars if I could. The bartender, Charley, is incredibly talented. He made the BEST espresso martini I have ever had. The food was delicious. My husband and I each got fish sandwiches which tasted incredible. Their soups are homemade and we tried the seafood chowder and their cream of mushroom soup. Both soups were out of this world! Compliments to the chef, for sure! The atmosphere was wonderful. The natural handmade wooden bar-top is a focal point for sure! Overall it was a really enjoyable time! This is a great spot and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone! You won’t be disappointed!“
“Cash only joint! Smallish neighborhood gem. Looks unassuming from the outside but it's just perfect for the locals. No beers on draft and that's a little sad but the delicious food totally makes up for it. The bartenders/waitstaff are always friendly, attentive and funny. Since we moved to Mount Washington, we're pretty much slowly becoming regulars so there go our plans to lose weight this year ?“
“Chill restaurant. Big bar area downstairs. Good knowledgeable & friendly service. Checked back on us often.Took all the "flame burger" toppings and put them on brisket instead of a burger patty. Would eat it again in a heart beat. Crazy juicy good brisket.Mac n cheese is super creamy and not too heavy. Loved everything!“
“have always had fun here.No one ever stole my money. it's a Pittsburgh thing you go to the bar when you leave your money on the bar no one ever stole my stuff perhaps people that I think that happened to them maybe they drink more than one drink good place good music Good Company“
“Came in for dinner on Sunday and the place was pretty busy. There was a Pens game on and several tvs were showing the game and the surround sound was playing the game, as well. The staff were super friendly and quick to take our order. Two women were both bartending and serving the tables, but we never had dirty dishes or empty glasses for long. The pepperoni rolls were our favorite. We also had a 16" pizza with extra cheese and half sausage & bacon. The pizza was ok! I'd say 7.5/10. The sauce had great flavor. My brother had the special chicken sandwich, parmesan style. He said the flavors were great, but he wasn't a huge fan of the bread. It wasn't toasted and after a few bites, it was totally soggy. There are two 1-person bathrooms and they were both clean, smelled like strawberries (lol), and were stocked with soap and paper towels.“
“I hosted a party in the upstairs room over the weekend and it was fantastic. The food was great exactly what we asked for and everyone went above and beyond. Our bartender Chelsi was awesome. Courtney was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed! We will definitely be back! The new owner has made so many improvements it just keeps getting better!“
“The people here are so friendly and welcoming. This place had everything. It had all the gothic alternative punk rock vibes and I loved it. Larry was my bartender and he was pretty cool. I ended up playing pool with some people in the back and had a great time. This is definitely a go to staple when it comes to dive bars in Pittsburgh. Definitely my #1!“
“Amazing food, quick service, friendly staff. After one visit, this is a new favorite spot. I wish I could come back daily. The food was fresh and delicious-I had the Beast, and my boyfriend had the BLT. The beast was mouthwatering with crispy ciabtta, and the BLT was super fresh with loads of bacon. Top tier.I will 100% be back, and hope to attend their beer and bacon tasting weekly events. I've never been to a bacon tasting, but given the quality of food today, my hopes are high.“
“Best pizza downtown, in my opinion. The dough is flavorful, sauce is really good, and toppings are fairly distributed. Never had bad food from here. The only thing I’d wish different is that their ranch was a different brand, it’s a little thick and vinegary, but that’s personal preference.Wheelchair accessibility: Just a small lip/threshold into the door, no step up. Door should be wide enough for a wheelchair.“
“I’ve been coming to this place for ten years and it’s a great bar. All the bartenders are very friendly and know their stuff. Especially ol’ Joe he can be very entertaining telling you stories of how it was back in the day around town. Between him and the restaurant itself there’s a lot of history about the burgh in this place. There are always friendly patrons to have great conversations. I like the fish and chips here for lunch especially around lent. They have a wide variety of beers and ciders with 24 taps so there’s something for everyone.“
“This place was pretty fun! There was a live band and plenty of seating for it too. Great food and great service. The drinks are a great price too. Would definitely be back again! The vibes are great and there is a great blend of people not just one demographic.“
